Pretty cool show. If you didn't go you missed out. If you did, post what you saw and liked/disliked.

We are a GM/Ford shop and do about 50/50 between the 2. We do more LS1's then 3V/4V/newer Ford stuff but many of our race cars are Ford's. So we went up looking at both company's products.
My oponions, and what I saw.

First. GM completly tore Ford a new *** on the newer product line. If you wanted it no matter what it was, GM or a GM aftermarket company had it.
Some of the more impressive things...
GM's new LSX Block is nice. maybe not for the hardcore racer trying to make 7 sec passes, but for those looking for some displacement and a stout street champion. Defentially nice to have th eoption out there, and cool to see in person.
For those all out race cars. WOW Dart has a block for you. Bad *** is really all I need to say. Set up for 18 head bolts to keep those heads down. Billet and pimpin.
World's block I didn't get to see except for at the ETP booth. And it of course has heads and everything on top of the block.

Heads were in full force and everyone had a LS head in their booth. Must have been 200+ different LS heads on display.
The more common.
ETP/AFR/TrickFlow/Dart/Patroit/TEA/Livernois all had nice displays.
Then there we another half dozen shops that had "their" ported heads on display along with another aftermarket casting buy a non sponsor.
Patroits casting was there.
As far as heads go the market is now flooded with head choices.
What goes on the head? Thats right the manifold.
Congs to Fast for making one of the most pimp manifolds I have seen. 3200 bucks and worth it for those big race cars. Not something i would have on my car as it a little pricey but very nice. ETP also had a top notch manifold but not a manifold that is in prodution as far as I know. Again for the race croud.
Other then that it seems like everyone is making a head but forgeting that the better the manifold gets the better the heads work. Looks like the LSX 90 from Fast is still the ticket for now. There were some new manifolds floating around but nothing that looked to be a better product. Guess we can just hope something comes out that makes similar power but costs half the price.

I could type for hours but its your guys turn. What did you see/like?

Nice to meet some guys as well. Brian/Mike from TEA Gunner from patroit/ Cary from ETP. Finially got to put a face with the name.

Now I feel like my shop is a piece of **** and so is everything I own and work on!

well gator and I went in on sat and enjoyed it. I was surprised at the amount of various vendors that were there from across the gammit of racing. I just wish I could have gotten a straight answer out of the clutch people on big hp street car clutches. No one would admit that they have anything that will take big n02 hits and live. Once you said 800rwhp they cringed. The GM line will really start pushing the boundries from what I can see. The ls2/7 ect. will replace the sbc and eat into the big block applicatoins when you can get 500ci in a small block config, I just could not get over some of the tow rigs. Dam they were nice.

Plus Dragraceresults girls were hot, and the Racingjunk girls (Santa's helpers). I'm sure SEMA has more, but it was cool enough for me!

Definately digging on the GM Performance Parts booth, plus actually talked to WJ for a few minutes. The '69 Camaro with the LSx engine and a 6-speed

I managed to walk the entire room in just over 1 day, then had a bunch of meetings for possibilities for next year.

I heard Nineball and PSJ were there as well on Friday, bummer I missed em!

Look for "interesting" things from B & M next year (within the next month or two, the announcements will somewhat shock ya)!
