You ran those ETs on good track prep w/VHT, now OSW uses VP traction compound and it sucks. You could get good traction like that on a Sat points night w/ Nittos but the only way you`ll see 1.6 or 1.7s on a Wed or Fri is if all the imports stay home!!

NO, YOU are ignorant.

The OP is trying to better his times, not win races. He was obviously at a street legal event where you go to run times, not run against people. And when your running just for your own personal best times, THE REACTION TIME DOESNT EVEN MATTER!

Like I said, the time doesnt start till your front wheel rolls out of the staging beams. NOT, I repeat, NOT when the light turns green.

went to the track tonight, here are some numbers. still need to work out my 60 ft but once i do i know i can get those 12's on motor

run 1 - 6:52

60' 2.064
330 - 5.835
1/8 - 8.840
mph - 82.40
1000 - 11.377
1/4 - 13.504
mph - 105.97

run 2 -7:21 pm

60ft - 2.017
330-5.687
1/8 - 8.63
mph - 83.69
1000 - 11.143
1/4 - 13.268
mph - 106.33

run 3 - 8:01 (nitrous run)

60' - 2.301
330 - 5.914
1/8 - 8.66
mph - 91.42
1000 - 10.998
1/4 - 12.927
mph - 117.58 (I really babied it out of the hole and hit 2nd and then sprayed) Im sure it would of been an okay run if i could of launched better. )

4 run - 9:16pm

60' - 2.214
330 - 5.772
1/8 - 8.68
mph - 84.71

I will keep practicing and hope to get my 60 foot times down . i was launching around 3100 and slipping the clutch.. should of gone a little higher. i was bogging a lot.

All you need is tires and a well-prep'd track ... you're already there. I believe most will tell you every 1/10th gained on your 60' is a 2/10th gain on your ET ... and sometimes even more than 2/10's. On a 125 hit, you're prob real close to 11's on a 1.6-1.7 60' time, as well. Hope to see you at the track next Wed. I'm gonna' try these Nitto's out with a long, dry burn avoiding the waterbox altogether. Both runs last time I spun bad and didn't launch hard at all. I think the water got between the tread and hurt my launch ... plus, I can't launch for ****, anyway. I'm with you ... gotta' get the 60' time down.

Nice, times are getting better. One thing though, your mph seems a tad low to me. I went 13.5 at 107 with a worse 60'(2.2) also with bolt ons. It was on a 100 degree day too, with a high DA. Does any one else agree?

Yeah you know what? When I first ran I was shifting a little low, because the stock tach is slow, and I could never tell when I was going to hit the limiter. I did gain about 2mph just by holding gears a little longer. I still have the stock limiter too. Shortly after I got a raptor shift light. I consider it a must have now.

Um, I got my Raptor right before they raised the price. But I think they only cost about 100 bucks now. Well worth it IMO. I have mine in the center AC vent, im sure in your TA you could do it, although ive only seen the Camaro install like mine

Yeah, just a little time consuming if your like me and like a clean install. You just tap into your CPU wiring harness and run it throught the firewall where the rest of the wiring comes through, then run it under dash to the AC vent. I made mine look factory so it took me a couple hours but its very simple and straight forward. If you did you bolt ons yourself it should be no problem.
