Yep, my "cushy desk job" that gets me up at 4 am Saturday morning to work all day while you lounge and disturb the peace at Silver Springs You forget I worked in sales at NPD for three years, and I know what it is like to work a packed counter AND answer phones. So there!
We're at 744 pre-reg'd entries as of Saturday's mail, so I think clearing 800 shouldn't be a problem ebfore all said and done. Hopefully the weather will be on our side this year, and looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Oh dear God, let's not go there. You won a mug, and we drank from one all day long. I've got more trophys than I can freakin' store. A long time ago I decided having fun at a show was more important than getting a goofy award. Just come, hang out, and who cares about bragging rights- Besides, we can always race...

Its always about the fun than winning anything. I would be happy with sun all day long and call it a good time.
But id like to drop off around 70 mags that i have and really dont want to just chuck them in the trash. There all ford and mustangs mags i dont want. Na there all gm mags and all are brand new condition.

Okay, I can't enter due to a prior engagement in the morning, but I wanna take a drive out in the daily driver to check out the show.
Do I have to pay park admission just to see the show if I can't enter? I'd assume there will be a seperate fee for the car show only?

If your not entering a car its full price to enter the park. Why should it be any less? Its free to enter the show with a car. Why should if be free to enter without a car? If that was the case id bring my girls 95 saturn.

Al, that's not what I said. Free with a car is great, I can't make it there in the morning but a buddy and I wanted to check out the show. Charging full park admission would mean we have to pay like $70 for two people to go to a car show? They need to make a seperate fee of maybe $15 to check out the show. The spectator attendence would be so much better if they did something like this. I'm not ******* the show, I wish I could get there earlier. But I can't....

Besides, who would pay money just to go look at cars? Other car shows dont do that. Thats why they have the admission for spectators who dont enter a car. You cant have both.

But what you are not understanding is that the car show is spread throughout the entire park. So there is no way to rope off a small area for people who just want to see the cars. Access to the cars = Access to the park. They arent just going to give free admission to people who want to look at the cars but not the park.
I'm asking questions to see if it's worth an hour drive when I can't enter my car. I'm not ragging on the show, I wish I could enter. Yet your getting all defensive over a car show....
Thanks.
