Packets with your armbands are to be picked up Saturday morning between 7 and 10 a.m. (don't be late and please don't cut it close, as Silver Springs insurance regulations state we must have everyone inside and no cars moving by the park gate's opening for spectators at 10 a.m.).
We have 884 registrations this year (a 90 car bump up from last year), and there are always day of show registrations available. The weather looks promising at this point so we look forward to seeing everyone there!

I can't go on the run, as I have to help get everything together for the show. I'll be at the show all day Saturday, so come say hi!
The collection will be available for viewing most of the day Friday (until I'd guess 5-6 p.m.)

Well looks like I'm not going to make it. The car is very close, but I just got it started last night and don't have enough time to get the rest of it together. Oh well. There's always next year.

Great event, I think the car count was just over 650? I missed two things this year, Oktoberfest and a concert. The Temptation's were great last year and the Roots the year before, they were great ways to end the show. Looking foward to having the Nova ready for next year!

Thank to NPD and silver springs for putting this show on. We had a great time and im ready for next year. I asked someone from NPD how many cars showed up and he said 637 cars. Thats a huge number.
But the entertament was very much missed this time.

lol I was so tired.. I was awake almost 48 hours.. left @ 5AM on a bottle of 5 hour energy (I bought 3 because I was so tired).
After I washed my car in ocala and then getting there, I could barely stay awake. Let me tell you.. a 7 hour event goes by very slow when you have no energy and no where to sleep
Overall I loved it though. Got a little boring/tiring towards the end because I was running on 0 sleep for the past 2 days.
I will never make a 2 hour drive on no sleep ever again lets just say that.. haha (stopped at a friends house... woke up and drove another 2 hours home). Bad decision to not go to sleep (I can't wake up at 5am).
Anyone have pics of the F-bodies? I was probably one of the only V6's there that I saw that wasn't stock.
I still can't believe how many cars showed up. 670 or so sounds like a low number, but I guess when you think about it, that is pretty damn huge.

As usual, I didn't have a chance to see every ride and say hi to many people, but Travis made sure to stand out like usual from the crowd with makeshift "mullet"
Thanks to everyone that made it to the show. 2006 (the first year) we had 477 cars and trucks there, last year the weather made it dismal looking but 420 rides came out. This year we had nice weather, and as a result 637 cars showed up, and they was NO SHORTAGE of top quality nice rides there. I'm glad I don't have to pick an award b/c it wouldn't be an easy task! The concert and Oktoberfest was missed due to a change in schedule, but we'll see what happens next year...
I was a zombie most of the day running around working on 3 hours sleep (I'm almost used to waking up at 3:30 a.m. for this show, and the drive from NPD to Silver Springs is a lot easier with no traffic), but thankfully the names were easy to pronounce, the people were friendly (except one) and I saw lots of smiling faces. And after all, aren't shows are all about having a good time, meeting up with friends or making new ones and checking out other hot rides?
NPD and myself want to thank to all that came and enjoyed the show, and here's to hoping you can join us again next year! Once I have a date I'll be sure to post it!
