My new car Finally my dad found a 2000 F-body with an LS1 at an auction. Take a look at my second F-body and first LS1

Put some slicks on it and go racing! Lol. Only thing Im going to do is dress up the engine bay
Not sure. Theres a control system on the left side of the engine that controls the brakes. My father said it looked like a aftermarket racing braking system

The stock intake set up, all that weird **** dampens noise so you can't hear it sucking air when you give it gas, all the new cars from several several years ago started getting all kinds of weird shaped intakes with "air boxes" off to the sides and such...trucks, vans, cars, everything!

Yep. Just going to dress up the engine and air box. May add a SLP air intake and let 'er rip down the quarter mile. Definitely going to put on the SLP air box lid and some good valve covers. I might get a performance intake.
Its at pep boys getting a tune up, new tires, brakes and a oil change. I'll take more pics when I get it home

Can anyone point in the direction of a website with good LS1 dress up stuff?
Also Im not to familar with the LS1s distributor/electrical system. Is it safe to use a engine degresser and wash it without protecting anything first?
