Default HID's on a WS6?? oh hell yeah pics inside

ok well for those that don't know.. i LOVE hid's.. the visibility is incredible.. and people see you coming.. well i've had them in my truck now for almost a year and i still love them.. so i went out for a ride in nick (ddnspider) turbo car the other day and realized something.. YOU CAN'T SEE ****..

sooo.. a little bit of engineering a few hours in the garage and we came up with this.. and beleive me the pics do NO justice.. its a 1.3mp camera..

My truck on the left with the 10000k's and nicks car on the right with the 6000k's

+1 on HID's

I've had mine for a few years andcouldn't live without them. I finally had a bulb go out a few months ago and had to go to OE untill the bulb arrived and I swear I could've driven with the OE lights off and barely notice a difference from OE lights and no lights!

I can't see crap out of mine, but would never do this due to common courtesy to other drivers. It really hurts my eyes looking at lights that bright while I'm driving. Even if it's on a road that's well lit I have to look the other way. That along with the fact that the distribution of the light above the headlights (forget what it's called) can not be the same as stock.

there are 2 adjustable screws to lower the headlights so theyre more on the road so blinding people isnt a problem. Its LITERALLY like night and day.my visibilitiy is SO much better its not even funny. And the install wasnt bad either.Mike you should start a kit and sell them

If done correctly, (IE with hella 90mm projectors, ect) there is LESS glare than the stock sealed beams.

I put 4300K with hella 90mm projectors in my car a couple of years ago, and it was one of the best mods I have ever done for driving comfort.

I have never been flashed once with these, when I was flashed often with the stock lights.

How did you get the cutoff in the factory housings, and can you get night pics against a wall ?

That link has round projectors. Did you just cram those inside the rectangular stock housings or are those different housings all together?

I replaced my square sealed beams, with a 90mm roung projector, and the finished product is round lights in the factory popups.

part number 0001.. hehe

actually if you were interested i could prob do up another set..

and beaflag.. i used a set of stock style square housings for ease of install.. when i finished the kit there was only 2 wires that had to be cut.. everything else was plug and play..
