Hello, I'm looking for a good shop in South or Central Florida to perform an engine swap on my 2007 NNBS Silverado RCSB, it has a 4.8 auto and wanted to swap it for the SDPC LS376/480 crate engine P/N 19171224 which is the 480HP LS3 with the FLT level 4 or 5 auto transmission and the L92 truck intake. I'm looking at making it look like a sleeper. I have been thinking about doing this swap since I got the truck. I had an 06 TBSS and had to sell it and get a pick up and really miss those 400hp in the TBSS. If any one can suggest a good shop please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks I will check it out. I also wanted to ask if part # for the 4.8 exhaust manifold in the NNBS 07 Silverado match the part # for the exhaust manifold in the L92 in the 2WD 07 Escalade, because if they are I would like to have FX Ceramic Coating coat the stock manifolds to lower the underhood temps. Like I had said I am trying to have a stock look. All opinions are very welcome.

Masport Speed Shop is the closest to me at 50 miles away. I will try to take a trip over there in a couple of days and ask to see what they can do for me. I hope they can help me out with my project.

I met Dan and Erik at Masport Speed Shop on Thursday and they were some of the nicest people you could meet. They showed me around the shop, took the time to talk to me about my project and answered all of my questions. Can't wait until they do my LS3 swap.

Well Dan just called today and informed me that the LS 376/480 engine arrived from GM Performance so pretty soon Masport will be performing the swap. I would like to post some pics of the engine and the swap but how do I post pics here?

Indeed it arrived, and MAN DOES IT LOOK SWEET! I will see if Dan can post some pics!
Can't want to put it in! Just gotta wade through current projects in the shop, and then the truck will come in for the swap!
AWESOME!

Hafta admit...I'm admiring the engine...nice work by GM at a great price. So, when do you want us to mount some turbos on this sucker?
