Default Anyone know where I can get a reasonable interest rate on a loan with limited credit?

I'm looking to independently borrow $6,000 to purchase a Camaro on this board... the thing is I'm 18 and have limited credit history and no proof of income (I just started my car sales business January 4th, 2008...All I can really show is bank transactions showing income going in and back out).

I already was financed through Capital One at 10.35% over 48 months, which is reasonable to me. The seller was over in Afghanistan and we unfortunately weren't able to get the deal done in time, and they void the check after a certain amount of days (I had already re-requested it once and they dont offer Private Party to Private Party financing anymore)

Am I SOL or is there hope for me to get my weekend toy? I hope you guys can help because I already purchased a C6 wheel/tire combo for it ::bites fist::

Id rather not go the route of a credit card and be transferring balances for a few years... I guess if I absolutely have to I will. But that's not the smartest thing to do IMO

Afghanistan??? here's my tip, dont buy a car from afghanistan, there are plenty of local f-body's on the cheap... as for credit, a credit union is not a bad way to go...

hey guys, not to hijack the thread but im in the same exact boat only i want to get a loan for 15k.. I have my dad to cosign for me but all the banks wont finance a car older than 5 years and im looking at an 01. I cant get accepted to a credit union because im not a college student, and where i work doesnt have one.

So is there a place like capital one that will still give out private to private loans?

Gah....I live in Dade county and have no association with the counties listed for both those Credit Unions!

I'm going to head back to my local credit union and try to work with them on it...wish me luckkk
