hell no! :-) but i would say build it around the biggest turbo u can then put a smaller one on for the sales. that way it offers possibilties of upgrading without changing much if anything. now that a 91 is available in a t4 id say 95% of people wont ever need that much turbo.

since you ask about emissions...
for us guys in california whose only turbo option is STS (if you want to do the legal thing), if you were to make this inexpensive kit which had a CARB number, a lot of us would jump on it. i'd love to go turbo, but my car is lowered + all the other reasons people don't like rear mount turbos. also, prochargers are quite a bit more expensive.
so, is it possible to make 50 state legal kit? i'll start squaring my pennies away now if you can do it.

Not sure how I never saw this thread before today. This is awesome. If it gets finished on time then I'll have a few months to save up for it before I get back from deployment. I was totally planning on going with a supercharger due to cost and lack of quality turbo kits, but if this pans out then it makes it a no brainer.
Also, **** emissions.

I figured that most of you guys didn't care for emissions, hell the Cat is the first thing to come off every car and truck I buy LOL... I just wanted to check since the manifolds are getting finished up we didn't want to have to go back and redo it
To answer to the Cali guys....
We have been throwing around the idea of getting CARB approved. But we can't justify it unless the kit becomes popular enough to jump through all those hoops. If it sells really well then we will pursue a CARB number.
Thanks for all the input guys. I should have some pictures soon.

So if I understand this correctly, around April-ish you guys will have a bolt on kit that retains AC for the fbodies and will be relatively cheap. This will be already welded, etc...?
What about making a kit for the DIY welder? Just have all the parts lined out that we need to purchase in one easy step, and we can put it together ourselves. I am sure that would save you time, as well as cut cost for me and you.
What do ya think? You wouldnt have to change anything except the final step of welding and assembly, and you just 86 that part right out the window.

We are going to try like crazy to make the twin kit have 2 MP t70's as the base turbo's. We might have to include a custom k member though not sure yet. I am going to call up some chassis shops within the next 2 months for bids on building a custom k member. We are really trying to not go that route though, because we not only want to keep the price down but we want it to be a driveway install.
