i need advise on a turbo, please help! i have been kicking the thought of building my own single turbo set-up on a stock LS1 F-Body. I need some help on the right type, size turbo to start with. I would like to achieve 475-525 RWHP.
I found a guy (local) with a DSM EVO III part # T04B
EMO701021. For Trade. He wants my Cold Fusion Nitrous kit off my Camaro. His turbo comes with a greddey BOV and steel braided oil lines. The thing is, a nitrous kit runs $450ish (mine did) but a good turbo runs $850+ there for i'm woundering if this is the right turbo to start with. PLEASE HELP, ANY ADVISE!?!?

You would need at least 2 of those...lol. Those are baby turbos....

Are you on a budget? do you want to get a turbo to grow into if you go more cubes? from what ive read is 8 psi to be the limit on a stock ls1. which most see 500rwhp with that with supporting mods.

I would perfer a turbo that would work best with a stock LS1 motor, if I upgrade the motors cid I dont mined upgrading the turbo.
Just take Dr Turbos advise and get a TC70 from him at forced induction you will only pay 1k and have a year long no questions asked warranty. It will spool like he said and make the power you want and then some.
As 52172 said a T70 should get you want you want and is a great budget turbo. Im going with a Master power T70 from modularturbo. Great sponsor and very good pricing. Not sure if Dr.Turbo sells them but also a great sponsor.
