Just looking to see who is making 700+ rwhp on stock cubes with a Blower (IE no Turbos).
Post your setup:
Components
Heads
Cam
Compression
Boost
etc.

Check this one out that we built using an ATI ProCharger D-1SC, which made 740 rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno with emission shorty style headers and stock cats. Bob

I did a few years ago:
348ci 8:1
1.875 Kooks Headers
Dual Exhaust
TCT converter
DRC TH400
9"
Griffin intercooler a/a
YSi Vortech
18 psi = 680rwhp = 9.40@143mph
21.5psi = 754rwhp = never did get a pass at that power level.

I made 710 with my setup before having to pull timing due to high intake temps/knock. I need to decide on a meth kit and buy one already.
Forged 347
LQ9 heads
236/246 615/595 114
~9.2:1 compression
4l60E
9"
True duals (with cats)
Of course that number was corrected. Uncorrected it was 588.

Well I wasn't sure the amount of boost I was wanting to make was going to get me there, but it looks like my plan of limiting it to about 15-16psi just might. Looks like investing in good heads will help.
Ricky how much boost you plan on running to reach your goal?

~13psi
Keep in mind that is at 5200 feet. I'm maxing out the D1SC as well...
The one thing I do not like about my cam is the lack of vacuum. At first I thought I had a leak but I couldn't find one. I see about about 4 at idle.. and 8 or so when I'm cruising around.

Here's 786 rwhp on a stock LS6 bottom end, pump gas, no meth, 12 psi...twin 67 mm turbos. Not a supercharger, but...

not for sure, i have KPs old D1 and his pulley set up i think he said that with the 3.40 he was making something like 17psi but i think his heads were much better then mine, i know that as of know with the 3.70 HU pulley i make 10 psi at prat throttle, so i guess 15-17 psi

Since I sold mine I'll say what it dynod now, with the 346/F1A @ 19psi it made 801rwhp uncorrected on a dynojet in some good 55 degree air, I forget the corrected HP, 787 or something like that. Thats through a 8" converter, TH400 and a 9" rear with slicks. The next week it ran the 8.90s @ 152.
That was with the F1A with 7.25/4.0 pulleys, stock ATI inlet hat with big filter and a 150.00 eBay intercooler. No dyno tricks at all, I went to see how much I turn the timong up before power dropped off and not for internet dyno queen numbers
Engine was out of the box AFR 225 'small bore' heads, 9.4:1 compression, untouched LS6 intake, ported stock TB, EPP blower cam (232/240 @ .050), Kook's 1 7/8 x 3" collector headers into a 3" Y-pipe into a flowmaster merge to a 4" oval magnaflow muffler.
Thats with C-16 and a real 17 degrees of timing at peak boost.

Its pretty easy to figure out how much power I made, 3350lbs @ 152mph + a good rwhp/mph calculator. Too many variables (correction, drivetrain and operator) on chassis dynos to make any useful comparison except for tuning for max power or swapping parts on the same car IMO.

I think a better way to approach this thread would have been, what is your raceweight and what do you trap in the 1/4. That would have been the best indication of HP.

But not only is a chassis dyno measuring engine power, but its also indirectly measuring drivetrain efficiency. For example, I have a light converter, aluminum flex plate, very efficient converter, aluminum direct drum, lightened reaction carrier, fairly light dirveshaft, lightened spool, lightened and anti-friction coated ring and pinion, lightened axles etc. So even someone else with a regular TH400 and standard 9" with a heavy posi and a junk torque converter may be looking at 600rwhp with the same flywheel horsepower as I make.
Its OK to ask dynojet numbers and specific combos for comparison, as long as you realize its not a 100% accurate way of comparing things.
