Default Incon Install Help

I just built a Low Compression 370 for my incon kit. I am wanting to know were to tap into my iron block to get coolant for the turbos? Picture would be great. I have heard some remove the big freeze plug and tap into there, but on the iron block it is in the back instead of in the front like an ls1. Any help appreciated.

Yes for a return line. Everyone says that they tap into the block for their feed line.

Could you not take the plug out of the passenger side head where the temp sendor goes and use it.

The coolant actually draws from a modified plug that is on the drivers side below the head and infront of the motor mount. My kit did not come supplied with the plug so we took the plug out of the block and drilled and tapped it to accept the line to the turbos. The return line comes from the heater hoses over on the passengers side. pretty easy to do, just takes a little time and effort. After your done drilling and tapping the plug, you can put some jb weld around the plug once installed for some added leak insurance if you want. mine worked fine though with no leaking issues.

I'm actually going to be in chattanooga next week for a conference at the marriot down town. (weird...) I might be able to link up at some point and point out what I'm talking about at some point next week. Just drop me a line via a pm. we had to fabricate alot of stuff for my kit to get it good to go, so I might be aboe to help with other stuff as well.

Go to air power systems website and read instruction manual for the aps f body kit. Its free on the site.

I also have 408 iron block and the coolant plug that is in front of the motor mount normally is behind to the rear on my iron block.I just had another coolant line made to give me a bit nicer routing to it.

On the passenger side the coolant line goes to a fitting on the head. Both these are pretty simple and neat and clean . No jb weld or cutting into heater hoses, etc.

You might just want to copy that setup. doubt aps would sell fittings so you would likely have to find your own.

Thats where I tapped into with my 6.0 LQ9 iron block! The top of the passenger head in the rear and it then go's threw that turbo and right over to the drivers turbo and up into the top bottom of ther block which has that allen or cap
