It's loud, I've only had mine for a couple of hundred miles, hoping the noise becomes a little smoother sounding. Right now it sounds a little gravelly.

When I replaced the scavenge pump in my incon kit from a tilton, I went to the mocal pump. I bought it on ebay new, can't remember the price, but it's worked great. It's a little loud, but it doesn't bother me.

When I had mine, I had no problems with it, just loud as living hell.

What size drains you guys running? do you just do a 3/8 npt adapter to your -8 or -10 line. Id consider running a pump, but my drain is only about 8 inches, but the drain is only 3-4 inches higher then the turbo.

theyre loud when you have the key forward about to start the car, and if you have quiet exhaust. i was running open downpipe, dumping under the driver's seat with the pump in front of the radiator....and it didn't bother me a bit when the car was on. when i closed the cutout though, i could hear it easily especially while driving inside the cab, for some reason

Oh man... I might need one. My stupid sts pump just went minutes ago. Luckily I caught a glimpse of all the smoke at a stop and pulled over. Get out and there is oil all over the back of my car. Good thing I was about a 1/4 mile from my place and just happened to have a couple of quarts of oil in the car. And yes I checked the fuse first. This damn kit has really pushed my buttons the last few days.

could be the relay, I ended up running a wire from the fuse box to the relay, sometimes the wire from the pcm wouldn't trigger the relay. I don't know if wasn't enough amperage but sometimes the pump wouldn't turn on and I would tap the relay and the pump would start up.
