Looks great! Just curious, why all the high end engine and drivetrain then stick an unworthy D1SC on the front? It'll hardly be breaking positive pressure with that big of a motor. Seems like an F1A-F1R would be better suited...

Went 9.80's with a P1SC, stock bottom end, CNC Heads, 218/222 cam, and a 35 shot. Different converter as well.

Built the motor, decided on the heads and D1 along the way. With the small twin intercoolers the IAT's were through the ROOF! Now we're too a point where I want it finished. The intercooler, motor, heads, 4" piping, 75 shot, everything is BEGGING for a F1. So it will come, but I want to see how far we can push this little D1. I'm spinning it a few hundred RPM less than max, so It should scream.

If it broke into the 9's pushing the P1, I cant wait to see what it does with the D1.

But yes, I know the concern and the limitations, but we shall see what this baby blower can do.

Even in a convertible.

Nice build. I also think the D1SC will not come close to feeding the 428. F1-C would be the smallest to use IMO. Do you have some more info on the A/W cooler and any other pics? What is your 'top secret" pump? If you have a big enough pump, there is no need for the BAP. The BAP is a band aid solution IMO. Keep us updated

I'm going to guess 12 psi will be max with the D-1SC, as the compression ratio is on the low side. Bob

Those are the worst pics ever Wade! I am the one building the system...got all the tubing done, now I just need to fab up a water tank. I'll take a better pic tomarrow to show the progress. We have it setup to spin the blower at max right now, but Im sure he will step up to an F1 blower soon. Car should run pretty good with the 100 shot on top of it for now.

Its one of Precisions 1000 hp cores. 4 inch in , 4 inch out. We have it setup 3.5 inch out of the procharger, and 4 inch into the fast intake. Overkill for the D1, but he should go bigger pretty soon

I think Chris did an excellent job on the Mark 8 fan and custom brackets. Everything is starting to come together. We really didnt get to work on the car today but hopefully we can make some progress tomorrow.

The precision intercooler is not an off the shelf unit. It was custom built for me over a year ago for a different project.

3 3/4 W

11 5/8 L

7 3/8 H

4" In/Out

1" Water Fittings

I still have one left. We were going to use duals on the last project!
