So the Upgraded APS Turbos Max out around a 1000 ho or So, what are the Upgraded APS Turbos, GT35's? Ball Bearing or thrust? Also, what is the Biggest Turbo that will fit the Manifolds in that Tight Space? Im not afraid of Trimming if need be.

The upgraded aps are not ball bearing turbos think they are just bigger standard turbos.Louis upgraded turbos are not ball bearing turbos they are just standard turbos as well.

I would like Louis to tell me what changes if any have to make to fit his 60 bl upgrades.
I think will get a set likely over the winter.

Mine are billet, and are derived from the 4 cylinder world, where every last bit counts.

Its a standard Journal bearing, Same CHRA, GT35 compressor wheel. It should on paper, support north of 1000.

With ANY of my turbos, you do not need any trimming. I originally slated Diego ( SOM TA) to have some that required trimming, but after much thought, we did some creative machinework that required no trimming and still maintained the minimum inlet we needed to support the power.

Like I said Tom, one or two out of a dozen or so didnt need them. Every other one did. The first one I faught FOREVER before I put a pump on it. There just isnt enough angle on the line to the pan to get it to drain properly, not to mention they turn to mush when they are hot.

I am going to work on some more solutions for the pump setup because it still isnt optimized IMO, but it works for now.

How am I beating around the bush? I put pumps on 10 out of 12 cars?! Im here, replying right? Thats not peter

All you need is a scavenge pump, I used tiltons because Ive had good luck with them, most people use a turbowerks, what ever floats your boat.

ok talk to louis (thanks louis) good input for sure it good to know im on the right track.
looks like im going to do the turbos first and if that doesnt fix it than im going to do a pump.

for the guys that need pump info the turbowerks is the best way to go. but the tilton is ok way to go as well.

for the lines for the pump its just a large -AN line from the turbos to a Y to the pump and than a -8 to the pan. very easy for anyone on here

i hope this helps guys and takes some load off louis LOL

Tom..new snails eh? Now we won't know if it was dud aps turbo or what. But guess if Louis turbos still give you oil problems pretty sure then to get the scav pump.
He did say 10/12 got scavenger pumps.
I went with the more expensive turbowerks as am only running one for two turbos .I am really hoping it quiet that is one of my main criteria for a good pump.It looks simple to install just wondering where would be best place to get power from. It has to of course be switched power.
Ground should be simple to do.
So are you getting 60, 65 or 70s? For sure you take some install pics for us.
