ok guys, got a lot done this weekend!! First i got my cold side all done. Sandblasted it all at my work and POR-15 in high gloss black. Let me tell you, this stuff is liquid powdercoating!! It lays perfectly flat and is durable as ****!!!! Welded in the bung for the threaded IAT sensor under the tube right in front of the throttle body and also what i wanted...ALL THE PIPES ARE ONE PIECE!! Theres only 4 cuplers on it! The intercooler doubles as a bumper support also. The front of it sits just on the top/outside edge of it so thats a also a huge plus! After that since the black paint was flyin i sandblasted the valvecovers and POR-15 them too instead of red, looks meaner IMO. Heres some pics of all that...

Second i made a PIMPass trans dipstick holder. I got the shorter LOKAR dipstick tube and mounted it right behind the elbo, nice and center. Ran a piece of metal across the top 2 bolts, small c-channel down to another piece of metal to mount it too. Its very stout and keeps it from rattling and is low-profile and angled to get fluid in pretty easy, then POR-15 that...

And my pride-n-joy. KOOKS 2" headers...

Looks great man! I like the dipstick idea, and the por-15 on the piping. You had the same idea I did on the intercooler piping, the less couplers the better! Were gonna have to line up when its all done (our car that is, because yours is close)

I really like the dip stick location. That looks really good!!!

When do you think you'll have that thing on the road?

What material piping did you use for the cold side? I like the idea of using less couplers from the perspective of not having issues, but how easy is it to work on?

Yeah we are running 2 -10 lines off of the valve covers (center) to the catch can. I researched it for a while to make sure that will be sufficient enough, and it is. And if it isnt, you have problems

got some pics i pulled off my camra, figure id post up some clearer pics. PLUS i got my catch can mounted and finished. Welded (2) -10 bungs into my valley cover, one in the rear and one in the front. If you look into the valley of the block, the front and rear most part of the block is where the block is casted away for the venting so figured right over that would be "best". Ran the -10 lines to the can and the rest you know...

Looks good! Are you able to route the rear line under the intake like the front line? Can you "clock"/turn the front line fitting so the AN line sits better? I'm just asking because I am **** with **** like this.

cant run the rear line under the intake because the fitting is too high and doesnt clear, that was my original plan. How else would you clock the front fitting?

It would be nice if you could put a 180 degree fitting on there but it doesnt appear to be enough room.

I was saying from the front of the engine, turn the fitting in the catch can 90 degrees clockwise so that the hose passes over the water pump and under the throttle body area. It takes away that sweeping line the goes over the catch can. I'm really over analyzing your work. I was merely making a comment so don't think I am bashing your work or anything.
