Default How much will the stock block hold?

Sorry the noob posting but I just had a question in regards to how much power a 2005 CTS-V will hold on the stock block before a rebuild is necessary? I am looking at picking one up and supercharging it but not sure what my limit is. I am familar with FI in general but not in regards to this motor.

I am just hoping the stock block can hold more power than my current car (G35; only will hold 410-450 RWHP before rods go) since it looks like you guys make much more power for alot cheaper (looking over some of the threads). 20k in a G35 might make 500-600 RWHP...

I ve made mid 600's, on the stock 346 short block and more on 6.0's.

The tune is important and monitoring and babysitting it is for the experienced.

I have read the tune is the most important thing. Normally the #7 ring lands give up.

People have went stupid fast on these stock engines.

It is a tight race between the ring land and the rod bolts. I personally would not push the stock rod bolts past 500 rwhp
