I have a 5.7L with a build shortblock, so L92/LS3 heads are not an option for me. Can my existing aluminum LQ9 heads ported to work with the LS9 supercharger manifold?

negative.
different port design
l92/ls3 is ls7 derivative, rectagle port
lq are cathedral port, bolt pattern is also different

or put a smaller ex valve and use a smaller than 4" bore.....

I see this as being a pretty cool way to make some cheap reliable HP. It would be pretty cool to have something like this in a DD.
