Default Simple question

Sorry for this,

When people talk about 1.9ltr or 2.3ltr superchargers what do they mean by that?

The superchargers pulls 1.9ltr of air per revolution??

Cheers

I thought it was how much air was pushed in per revolution like you mentioned in your first post. Best thing would be to contact the vendor of whatever system you are talking about and ask. Different manufacturers might have different ways of explaining it.

wouldn't it be the size of the blower itself? IE: 1.9 ltr is a 117 CI blower body? Like a B&M baby blower is a 177CI blower.

and a 2.3ltr is a 142 CI

I just thought I'd throw this clarification out there... I'm pretty sure that these measurements are only used on positive displacement blowers like roots and twin screw blowers. Centrifugal blowers like Vortechs and Prochargers will not have these measurements as a single revolution doesn't move a consistant amount of air.
