Hey guys, Twin screw questions

I strongly prefer screwchargers just because of their efficiency.
That said, I think I saw an MP122 kit for an F-Body on the counter at LM Speed when I was there. If you're considering it, have you contacted them? They definitely know their stuff (and nice guys to boot).

Seems to be some mixing and matching here.
KB and Whipple are twinscrews, not Roots. Twinscrews generate less heat under boost and are comfortable at higher boost levels.
TVS and MP112 and MP122 are Roots, and the TVS line is Eaton's most modern Root type.

Has LM Speed actually posted pics of the MP122 setup? They were wanting to use my car as a test car but didn't have the money at the time.
It seems the MP112 is best suited for a 347. In MTI's thread they have some dyno numbers of their MP112 on a 402.
I think 500-550rwhp from the MP112 is what people seem to be getting. (Just from the threads I have read on here)
I would think if you want more than that a procharger would be the next best bet.
Z06PSI,
That blower looks freakin' huge!

To my knowledge there aren't any twin screws that have an inlet on the front. They are all from the back like the one in the picture. I dont know what could be done to even make that work without cutting the firewall, notching the **** out of your cowl and maybe the windshield? Twinscrews are pretty massive. If your all about being different good luck. If you wanna get it done and making good power without the headache I vote procharger. Goodluck though.

It is a 2.8L bigger than any VTEC.
On the blower pictured above. The cowl would still nee to be cut because the depth of the motor sitting back into the car. Guys I looked at every option out there for my Camaro and just deemed it not to be worth it unless I was building a track only car with a Kenne Bell on it. So I bought a Corvette and put the engine and blower setup meant for the Camaro. Just made sense.
