Stock Bottom & Boost - Reliability List
- 67mm sts set-up
- 10.5 psi, ebay fmic,meth / 550 rwhp,600+ trq. on high boost /meth

- car has 102k/20k of that boosted
- motor still runs great/ doing a front mount set-up now.

a/f never went over 10.5:1
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

rich tune 10.5
I have an E85 tune I run every now and then and bump up some timing...don't know hp/tq numbers on e85 safe to say over 550rwhp.
So the people I want to reply in the thread are ones who have ran boost on a stock bottom end (pistons, rings, rods). Even if you broke something in the motor, still post up. Post only cars you own(ed).
Here is the format I'd like to see it in:
- Type of Forced Induction (Turbo/Supercharger)
- Boost Amount / RWHP
- Miles on the car when FI installed
- Miles ran since FI has been on the car
- IF you broke the motor, list what was broken.

- nothing broken so far but the clutch is due to be replaced. tune is FAT!
I drive it all over the country and so far it'all good.
BTW - This is one of the most useful threads I've seen in a while - thanks for starting it! If I had a better understanding of the limits of a stock block I probably would have lowered the timing a bit to reach "safe" hp levels.
