I don't know much about LT1s, but I would say no, it can't handle 12-15psi. LS1s usually won't take more than 8psi based on what I read on here. As far as what all you'll have to do... The majority of it will be in the kit (blower, piping, intercooler(s), injectors, belts, pulleys, relocation brackets, new fan shroud, etc, etc). However, you will probably want to get a new fuel pump (or two) instead of using the boost-a-pump that will most likely come with the kit. You might want bigger injectors, too... and possibly a front-mounted fuel pressure regulator.

All I can tell you is you better dig deep into your 401K, It takes a lot more than just bolting up the procharger, and NO you cannot run 12-15 lbs on a stock motor, or yes you can.....maybe once....

Oh, and, of course, you'll need a tune to go with all that. Expect to spend around $8,000 and you might not be disappointed with the final price tag.

Keep boost at or under 8 and you might be fine. But you'll still have to put money into the trans, rear end, tune, ect...

I would be interested in what you get for 1200, sounds like it may be missing some pieces. Like said above, 7-8 psi on stock engine would be the limit.

I ran about 8-9 lbs on mine with no problems, but your still taking a chance. Its kinda scary. Just make sure to keep money aside incase something does happen.

it would definitely make more power, but of course the question would be, for how long would it hold it, its better to just save ur money and build the motor...

For that price, it can only be the head unit with no bracket, plumbing, IC, clamps, hoses, etc. I would even guess the head unit would not be 100% either. I would pass up that deal.

Good advice, you usually get what you pay for with forced induction.

I would only hit 9 lbs on some occasion's. But usually made 8 other times, the car only had 9,000 miles so i knew the engine wasnt worn by any means, but like I said it was scary still.
