Default Exhaust sound, weak?

After going turbo, the rumble is gone and replaced with a prrring. I miss the rumble and curious if any of you have done anything to get a more agressive sound?

To be the absolute a$$....go STS It will make the exhaust loud and nasty.

Seriously.... what are you running after the turbo? I made the above statement in jest, but in the case of the STS, it "replaces" the muffler and does a good job of muffling it, within reason. A simple resonator or bullet muffler instead of the "traditional-style" muffler might be what you're looking for to wake the sound up.

In short, turbo's are effective sound deadeners.

What system are you running and what kind of exhaust after the turbo? Post sound clips if you can.

use a cutout. you'll get the sound you're looking for, plus it'll be like running open downpipe

So you've got two mufflers... First the turbo then the magnaflow.

A cutout would be really practical for so you can keep your muffler too... You might not want to be too loud all the time.

This is the sound of an LM1 resonator. I'm stuck being super loud all the time, even at half-throttle, but I don't mind because I really don't like any of my neighbors:

this is what open pipes sound like....

in the burnout, it's sitting on the burnout limiter

the car turned the tyres mid track, and buzzed the engine limiter...

the pedal was due to sideways movement...
