Default any one running a borg warner s400-80

ive been taking an interest in this turbo. i am putting it in the battery location. i have my bottom end built just waiting on heads and intake. any info is helpful. thanks

We will be running one aswell on a Stock displacement LS1. our goal is 9's and 800hp.

We run them on alot of cars. Great units for the price. Some of the larger units are a little laggy, but some people don't mind. Only real problem with the units is the external size. If you need one, give us a shout.

The external size is great for ppl who eventually want to go bigger but are on a limited budget now. you end up building the setup to fit with the S480 and if you did it right swapping in a 94+ is a cake walk. For the money you cant beat it.

So true. My setup has changed a couple of times. A turbo that will work with a stock headed 346 all the way to a h/c 408

I run one on my truck with a 1.32 AR exhaust housing and it's been great for the last three years. It puts out about 35 psi at full tilt and hasn't given me a hint of a problem.

Yeah we run them on our CTD's as well. They do a pretty good job.

I got my turbo in yesterday. Cant wait to get started on the build. I will make a new post on the build once i get pics. Thanks. Hey zombie. How have u been? Im gonna end up needing a tune and i would like u to help out if its not too much trouble

i just got one as well, just built the hotside for it, thinking bout what im goin to do with the dp now, ill try and get some pics!

p.s. its freaking huge, not sure if it will fit well where the battery goes!
