Twin Turbo question
Welp hey all i am new here.I have a question about the LS1 TT setup.I am in the process of getting a ls1 swapped into a 2nd gen rx-7 or at least trying to get it off the ground i should say.I am thinking about doing the TT setup on the LS1 for two reasons,1) the obvious performance and what not and 2) becuase i want to attempt to show the car as well.I am curious exaclty how difficult and how expensive the setup itself is.I have only seen one done and it had the Twin t-72's on it.Which would be the better TT setup and exactly how pricey would it be?Any one that can give me some info it would greatly apreciated thanks.

Re: Twin Turbo question
I was told there was a TT setup down on one of the river city f-body's members car.Nick i think yo uknow who i am talking about dude his name was uhmmm elmer i think.I was told they were the T-72's i never got down in the engine to actually look becuase at the time doing something like this was not even a option.Yea i checked speed inc and all they had where the supercharges. If they weren't so expensive i would go that route but then again i don't know how much the TT setup is going to cost either. It is going to break down into what is cheaper and better for the longevity of the motor.

Re: Twin Turbo question
Twin T-72's would have way to much lag time for any street use. It would make a but oad of boost though.
I am looking into building my own system. I belive I can do it myself for $3000 to $4000. A single kit is $7000. Besides saving the money, I will be able to say I did it myself. If you are swaping an LS1 into an older car, you may have to go that route. I do not belive it would be hard to set your own system up. Good luck!

Re: Twin Turbo question
Now by old car would a 88 rx-7 classify lol.At this point i am more concerned with getting the motor in and still trying to decide on my transmission either the A4 for just daily driven use or the T-56.I can't make up my mind i am looking into which would be better. The TT idea just popped into my head this past saturday night becuase my friend said i should just get the TT rotary and i thought screw it i'll TT the LS1.It is something i want to do later on down the road but i have to get the basics done first like getting the blasted engine in the car first.
