Thats good ****. What do you shift at now? What trans do you have? To leave that high on the 2 step do you have a trans brake? I tried the 2 step on the first pass and had it set to 3300 and rolled out of the beams.

I hooked up the 2 step for the first time on the night that I blew up my nitrous motor (running N/A). Weather permitting, I'll be at the track Wednesday night.

Rev limiter is set at 6400 and am trying to get out of the gears by 6K RPM. I run a TH350 w/ rmvb and tbrake wired to a 2 step. I had the 2 step set at 3400 when I went out to the track on the nittos this last time out. I can bump it up to 4K and hook the mikckeys no problem.

I do have lots of bugs to work out though. One of which is that my converter was setup to stall at 5K RPM N/A (running 10.31@131) and about 5800 on the big shot. The converter is flashing up to about 4500 RPM on the launch and then never drops below 5800 RPM. Basically, as soon as it really starts pulling, I shift.

The other problem is my rear end and gearing. I run the S60 which apparently cant be geared below a 3.54. Currently running a 3.73 gear.

And then there is the fuel problem. Currently running the 80# Motrons but only a single Racetronix/walbro 255 intank thru the stock lines. I already have an aeromotive vacuum reference fpr and will order the Magnafuel 4301 on Monday. Not sure if I have any other choice but to sump my tank.

And last but not least is the issue of boost control. I'm considering buying the AMS-500 or 1000. Need to do some research to see if the 500 will be good enough.

What about doing dual walbros, larger feed, and use the stock line as the return. Whats wrong with the aeromotive regulator, thats what I'm using. There are quite a few people running the dual walbros. You can activate the second one with the hobbs switch when you get into boost.

So basically I'll have to get a trans brake to take full advantage of the 2 step. N/A I could stall up to 3300 or so and launch, now it starts pushing through around 3k.

I have to get a boost controller also. The manuals are much cheaper than the electronic controllers, just not sure how they fair. I was thinking of the turbosmart one.

I have mine set the same as you, but I have it shifting at a higher rpm and bounced off of the rev limiter. I think I'll bring it down from 6200 to 6100 to keep it off the limiter.

IMO multiple intank pumps is not the way to do a fuel system. I know that many are doing it but I want to do it with one big pump. There is nothing wrong with the Aeromotive FPR, I was just stating that I already have it in my possesion for the new fuel system. I do not have it installed yet. I have to figure out what I am going to do about a sump for the tank.

I'm on the fence between the eboost2 and the AMS-500 for a controller but that's a little ways away.

Yeah I have the same fuel setup. The racetronix you run, is good up to 700rwhp. At that point, it is done. Mine gave up @ 5500 but made decent power. Your gear, as you know does have alot to do with it. I ened up going WAY taller of a gear in my car as well. Makes everything way more useable.

Ordered it from Jegs. Had to use Paypal money.

You tell me on the AMS-500. How much can you get it to me for? How about the eboost2? Do they come with the solonoids? If not, I need that price as well.

The only picture of it that I can find is just looks like an electrical controller. I didn't see where the boost reference was. Maybe I'm just blind or retarded.

how close were you to the limiter at those traps?

man only 22mph out back...don't most cars pick up close to 30? that converter is killing you.

Is that a stock bottom end? What is the compression ratio on that? What was your goal to run?

Did you get any vids?
