Fuel pressure drops at 5500rpms but once that is fixed there will be dyno #'s and track times!

Help me figure this out:

cant wait to see those numbers. i talked with lonnie about that same fuel setup for my car, and based off what hes told me that should be plenty of pump for that car.

Did you get the new oval mufflers or the bullet style, I talked to Drew at Kooks and he said he could put the ovals on mine to quiet it down if i wanted but I havn't made up my mind yet. jeff

I got the standard bullet ones. I'm willing to bet it won't be any louder then my car already is with a loud mouth so it'll be a step in a better direction lol. Do you have a sound clip? I'm guessing it sounds pretty good.

you probably need another pump or a bigger fuel feed line.

The last time is was on the dyno (and the belt wasn't slipping) it made 783. However, I was down 2.5-3 pounds (12 down from 15ish) and that was when we discovered the fuel pressure problem. We dropped down in pulley size to 3.75" and it brought the boost back up to around 16 pounds.

Since then we have fixed the fuel pressure problem, and *HOPEFULLY* resolved the belt slip as well. The most recent issue has been the main belt trying to walk off a rib on the crank pulley, but we've installed a manual tensioner, and are confident that it will solve the problem. ... Hoping to get it back to "Frost" very soon for final tuning and new numbers.
