fyi, in the actual fuel thread, Mighty Mouse was able to point out that the fuel filter he was using from Jegs was choking it.

Since then we have fixed the fuel pressure problem, and *HOPEFULLY* resolved the belt slip as well. The most recent issue has been the main belt trying to walk off a rib on the crank pulley, but we've installed a manual tensioner, and are confident that it will solve the problem. ... Hoping to get it back to "Frost" very soon for final tuning and new numbers.
My belt was walking off the front of my crank pulley also but in my case it looks to be the idler pulley (I think lol). For some reason it gets crooked when I tighten it down. I'm using a C5 front accessory drive though.

I just broke my second accessory belt. This one lasted a whole 6 miles! Did the manual tensioner help?

How does the aster help for the accessory belt? I broke the belt that runs the power steering, alt, water pump.

Been awhile since this has been updated... Car is back up and running after the F1 decided to eat itself. Waiting for tax money to send my 80 to Transformance for a rebuild and brake.

Car was just put back on the dyno this week, but it continues to have belt slip problems @ 6,000 rpm. Car is only making 14 pounds on the rollers, but on the street it's a healthy 17/18 pounds. Hoping to get this thing at the track early spring.

It's only making 780 on 14 pounds w/ the belt slipping at 6,000... locked converter, yes

That's pretty damn good numbers... That would have been 820-830 with a stick. Not bad at all for only 14 psi. Not to mention the belt slip..

Thanks! The 80 that's in the car now won't make a 2-3 shift under boost, so like I said once the tax returns comes in, it's being shipped off to be rebuilt and fitted with a brake. Should be able to get it to the track soon after that.

wow. 780 is badass. Sounds like you could still turn the boost up a little if you want. May be able to play with the intake hat some, or check the FMIC for before and after psi, and see what you can do to get it to 16 or 17. Good luck with the new trans. I get mine this month too!

As long as my boost gauge in the car is correct, it's making 17.5'ish on the street. It's a belt slip issue on the dyno that's limiting it to 14 pounds. Not sure if the car will ever put down a legit number on the dyno, but a good time slip will make up for it

Was just wondering if anyone who's following the thread is running a 4L80 w/ an aftermarket shifter? I want to run something like the the TCI Outlaw, but not sure what's all involved as far as fitment w/ the console.

No real updates... Car has been waiting on the transmission to get back from Transformance. That's a whole different story in itself :-\
