Default HELP!!!!

I have the Incon TT setup. Went to clean MAF yesterday and noticed oil at bottom of MAF and some at the throttle body.
Put car on lift and removed hose into the intercooler and promptly coated myself with about 1/2 pint of oil.. NOT GOOD.

Is there a gasket leak in one of the Turbos?? Car runs great and showed not smoke out of exhaust butthat amount of oil if ANY cannot be good.

Any information will be appreciated.

Is your PCV system stock on the ITT setup?

If its the passenger side intercooler then it from the fresh air line that comes off the valve cover to just behind the air cleaner.

Thanks for the response. It is the stock PVC setup and I checked hoses at filters and they are a dry as a bone. The oil in the air cleaners side must be at the Turbo side as it took quite a while to reach end of hose at the air cleaner and it was only a couple of drops at the most. The oil in the boost hose that goes to the intercooler is where most of the oil was. It has got to be coming from a seal in the passengerside turbo. Going to call Norris tomorrow and see what they say. The car runs real well thats is what is so confusing..

You have the stock Incon setup right? It still sounds like you are sucking oil out of the valve covers into the turbo inlet line, which then gets blown into the intercooler. I had the exact same thing on my car. There was very little oil in the line from the valve cover, very little in the turbo inlet line. Some in the turbo outlet, but probably a pint or so in the intercooler. The compressor housing had very little oil or sign of oil sitting, like you would get if one of the seals was leaking.

how much oil pressure are your turbos getting, they shouldnt get more then 60psi or it may press past the turbo seals even if there good.

oil pressure is inthe 40-50 lb range. I am going to check on the oil from the valve cover trick. Norris is checking to see if turbo is still under warranty. Once i get nawer i'll post.

Before you go pulling the turbo, put a filter (with a clear plastic case) inline with the hose from the valve cover to the air filter. If it collects oil then theres your oil issue. Don't spend a ton of money getting that turbo off for nothing.

This is not to say you don't have a seal or oil volume problem. Is your setup one of the early ones that was sent out, if so Incon had to add a additional inline orifice in the oil inlet fitting to prevent over oiling. In the later setup Garrett supposidly added an a smaller orifice in the CHRA housing and Incon did not supply a inline orifice. I have the same oiling and my turbo is fine, plus I did not even get my turbos from Incon.

Let me see if I have this right. There is a 1/2" - 5/8" hose that connects to a nipple behind the Air Cleaner. If that is the hose you are talking about it is disconnected from the nipple and the nippled is capped and shows no evidence of oil.
