Default To hell with n/a!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about slapping a pair of twins on my LS1 Camaro personally, I've been doin some research and it looks my lil ole LS1 can handle up to 13 PS1 with the stock 10.1-5:1 compression ratio (i have now intention on boosting that hi). I just wanted a little input and insight on what should be done as far as engine mods. I know the crank can take it, but rest of the rotating assembly (rods, pistons) need to be swapped for forged materials, in which case, low compression pistons can cam in to play. And i also want the idle to sound as stock as possible, and stock head. So point me in the right direction.

317 truck heads 04 z06 cam ls6 intake stock t body will be a nice set up.

there arent many that run that set up in the boosted side. thats a great combo for a N/A set up.

most in here that get an aftermarket intake usually get the Victor Jr intake with an elbow

but this is just based on what i've seen in here many times

im in the process of bumping my CR from 8.6:1 to 10:1.

I have an 02, so if I'm correct, I have an LS6 intake already.....should i leave it as is? or port it? and what about porting stock heads?

You have a LS6 intake already (no EGR provisions). You definitely want to get some 60# injectors. How much boost and HP are you looking at?

i know 500RWHP @ about 8PSI is more than possible, but i want to make sure that (shall i feel stupid one day) it can handle more @ the crank...

you want it to look stock with twins?? are you going to be doing some sort of twine rear mount set up?? and on 8 psi my car only made like 480

Well, im saving up for the APS kit.

And also, 480 is about right for an A4, im no expert so i really cant say...

LOL!!! I hear that and feel that!!! I don't know about the twins, but my turbo kit's in the process of being built by Josh at Kentucky Turbo. I have a 99 SS with worked LS-1 heads. A little more work has been done to the internals (stock nodular) parts, and the crank is stock too. This will be my first turbo kit ever. I was spraying a TNT wet kit 150 hp shot, without retarding the timing and it held up beautifully. I'm really exited to see what this turbo kit's gonna do (76mm) with this practically stock setup. I'd love to do about 10 to 12 psi, but no more. Good luck with your hunting. Hope the twins work out for you.

Thanx, I think I've got a pretty good idea of what needs to be done. I'm not trynna be the fastesr, I'm just the only one of my buddies that didn't get a TT Import. It pains me to be spanked by a boosted Nissan, Toyota and Dodge/Mitsubishi.....so I'm going to show these ******** what boost can do in an LS!1
