Going back to the track on Sunday, going to try my luck with the True Street class, should be a good time. I can't wait to see what these new shocks do.
Oh, I heard that your sled is flying.... it is amazing how far Hooper can take a twin.

Well interesting weekend...
I ended up winning Real Street at the Carolina Grudge Racing event. Took out a turbo Mustang notch. The car launched hard didn't spin, ripped through the 1/8th to a new best of 6.20... ran second gear out to 7000 rpm, made the 2-3 shift, and it went right the rev limiter at the 800-1000ft mark. There is nothing in any gear now, I am guessing the input shaft broke, we will find out later today. Funny thing is, I coasted to a 9.80 at 122 mph, at least 30 mph off the best so far. It was going to be a hell of a pass.
And by the way, this was on only 12 psi of boost. Oh well, I was still so far ahead, I got the win, and a $500 check. We will get it fixed up and back in action in a week or so.
Here is a video from the starting line, they didn't even know it broke... until I didn't come back!![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

Well it looks like it ripped the splines from the forward drum. So we are going with a Vasco input shaft and forward drum, Vasco intermediate shaft and HD steel forward clutch hub. Should have it up and running before the weekend.

Well I was on my way to the best pass yet, with a lot less boost this time, that was only 12 psi, it was 17 psi on the 9.50 pass, so I think so. The car just transferred back and pulled. I knew it was going to be good, until it went to 7500 on the rev limiter.

Thanks!

LOL!!!! Great memories! He was going to hang the tongue out of it, even if it was John Force with his funny car in the other lane! "You guys need to get out so I can race him again!"

Coasting to a 9.80 at 122 shows and a 6.20 in the 1/8th, it was on a run.
Thanks!

Thanks!
your first post was a 6.25 @ 120...so a 6.20 isn't that much faster...maybe .07 in the 1/4
