The tune is set up to pull 3 or 4 degrees above 150 iat. Im going to change that to pull all timing above 150 iat. I dont plan on ever running it past 150 iat due to the meth and the fact that im not going to hot lap it when its super hot out.

What plugs are you running? I think you should look into TR7's or 8's. Also you did not have a fuel pump failure did you?

Not sure why my intercooler wasnt working so well that day. Its a huge 4inch thick cooler.

People will argue different but intercoolers are not all the same. What brand I/C do you run? I think in the mid 8's I saw intake temps in the 120's.
At 15lbs of boost I would use TR6's. That's what I ran at those levels.

Keep us posted!

What size downpipe, flange size, and AR housing/turbine size? Peaking at 5300 that setup looks choked up?

Have a 72mm setup in shop that pulls to 6700 rpm with similair camshaft, makes 630 from 5500-6500 on 11 psi/pump fuel 16 degrees timing

t4,3inch dp, .96ar. I had weak valve springs or bad coils when i had to lower the shift points to 5300. All is fixed now and it pulls hard to 6700 now. I installed a t-brake at the end of the season but didnt get any full boost runs in. It did go 11.0000 @125mph on 7lbs with a 1.6 60ft. Then i blew a trans cooler hose and went home. Ill keep every one posted after i can get back out there on a t-brake launching on some boost @16lbs. Hoping for 9s.

stock longblock, or heads/cam?

done a few 7-8 psi cam only stuff that trap 130 pretty readily and carry to 6700 like your saying. Had it back on the dyno? Im wondering if downpipe is choking the top off a bit

My guess is the downpipe choking a bit or the compressor running out of effeciency.

78mm compressor not out of steam at 600hp, Ive made 700 on a 72mm on about as unfriendly a dyno setup as you can be, so id have to err looking at teh turbine side of things

Its been on the dyno since and made the same power. Just wanted to check over everything. Honestly i think the setup works very well. 620WHP through a 9inch, stalled auto and on a mustang dyno is pretty good. Its hard to compare 6 speed cars to mine. A m6 on a dyno jet with my setup would probably be over 700whp.

Among other things, a simple swap/improvement could be seen by swapping from the on center turbine housing to tangential, fwiw.

Run it for a while as is, and just run it. I bet you'll run low 10's at 135mph with very small changes.

And on a boosted motor run a Non-projected tip spark plug.
Some say yes, some say no? Just another option.

9.40 = 680rwhp dynojet for me...3450 raceweight

I think you can run 9.9 - 10.2's after a while. Your car is heavy and you are not running a ton of converter so I think the ET will be a little soft but overall it's gonna get there. I would not change anything, just play with different launch techniques. Get a 6 pt in there so you can race at GLD, I'm hoping to go there 1-3x a month on weeknights.
