Kytp a/c kit w/tc78, 620whp,705ftlbs!!
Well she is finally tuned and ready to hit the track. Car went on Striaghtlines Mustang dyno this morning and "Tuner Mike" did another great job with my car.
This is a 2001 WS6 with a 9inch(370gears) a built level 5 Finishline 4l65e w/a vig3600 3disc verter. Forged 347 with 8.6 compression,stock ported heads,226/228 on115lsa .609/.612 lift,comp r lifters,comp 1.75 rockers.
ls6 intake with stock tb,60lb injector, dual lonnies fuel pumps and an open cutout.
This is Josh @ KYTP new a/c retaing c6/6.0 truck manifold kit. Using a tial 50mm waste gate and bov. 3inch dp, and open waste gate. I highly recomend this kit to anyone as I was kinda the test mule and have worked out pretty much all design issues for real daily driving. Ive already driven about 1700 miles with this kit. Feel free to pm for details. Josh is great to deal with.
These pulls were made with a locked converter @15lbs of boost. About 115 intake air temp, 11.5 afr, 15 degrees timing on 93 octane pump gas.
Im very pleased with the results. Last year i was having some valve float or possible weak coil issues. I replaced the springs and installed truck coils last week and all problems are fixed. It went 10.8 @124 last year @15lbs with same turbo but i had to lower the shift points to 5300rpm due to the valve floating.
It only made 490whp last year and went 10.8 so im hoping for 10.30s now that it has like 130whp more and i can shift at 6500rpm.
Graph, pics and vids will be up later tonight or tmrw.
Alex

Ill get some more tmrw of the car all cleaned up,everything painted nicely with a/c lines.
Everything turned out awesome,im really happy with how professional it all looks. I built a really nice raditor cover and had it matched to the car and cleared.
The last dyno sheet is an over lay of last years dyno with floating valves. With that shitty graph it went 10.8 @ 124.

I dont think there is too much left. I am going to convert to e85 soon and im hoping for 670whp on a mustang dyno.
With an auto and 9inch on a mustang dyno thats pretty high. I think the turbo is rated at 1000 crank hp so its getting up there.
My goal for 2009 is a 9sec time slip on a full weight real daily driven street car. At the current moment this is my only car. It gets used as a 100% daily driver which includes work every day, week end trips out of state and everything in between. I get about 23mph on the highway and it drives like stock untill you go wot.
This turbo is great for street and race cars, i highly recomend it.

I have guys making upwards of 780+ rwhp with the TC78. Boost levels vary from 15lbs - to as much as they can make. The turbo spool very fast. I have seen them light off at 2600rpm personaly and be aginst the WG by 3600rpm. The TC series is my number 1 recomendation for a street or street/strip car.

Where's the videos?
I think it's just done at that boost level. Adding a couple more pounds of boost might extend the peak rpm a little, but that much torque on pump gas is pretty much all I feel comfortable with.
