Talking Wwhhhhoooooooo-hhhooooooooo!!!!**

I just got back from E-town, Me and my buddy went down with our chicks for a finnal harra of racing, And what a day, little cold, but perfect race weather.
After my last 2 track days, 1 blowing the rear, and 1 loosing boost. I was wondering what today would bring. It brought 4 new Best's, thats what.
After 4 2:00 am night fixing my boost problem.

1st run out.= 1.63 60' 104.72 1/8 and a 10.73@131.72
2nd run out,= 1.72 60' 104.99 1/8 and a 10.82@132.50
4th run out,= 1.71 60' 104.87 1/8 and a 10.89@131.82

Now your wondering what happend to my 3rd pass! This was the new best best!
Car was in at 3,679lbs, and went a 1.64 60' 104.52 1/8 10.681@132.36
She felt great. these runs where all made with about 10-12 untuned psi. (car is tuned to run 8-9 psi
Over all a great way to end my race year!!!!

How much longer before you put a 348ci forged bottom end in there? Any thoughts of going with the FAST system?

I was going to build it in the next couple months, But blowing the rear put me $2,000 behind. Im going with the gen 7 when i do it.
I have the pistons and a few other parts for the new 8.75-1 Forged block. and 15 psi. Id like 9's!

Sounds like a plan.. I am in need of a new motor, but I going to wait till after the holidays to decide exactly what motor is going in the car next. I still want to go boost, but that would require a longer downtime..

FI is a good way to go, just a little harder to get their if you know what i meen!
Im going to keep it around 10 psi, then retune it. I think with that i'll still be safe, but a bit faster. I have a few other things to modifie also.
Looks like for now i'll be stock bottom end and just tweeking it till the begining/middle of next season.
My goal this year was to go tens, so I think my new goal before the motor will be low,low 10's stock motor. I think its right their. Im looking for some un needed weight to get rid of and a nice tune and traction i think i'll be there no prob.

One thirty two and a half in the quarter. That speaks to power.

The value of twins

So to get this straight... Stock bottom end...stock computer....much less money and means....and your within a second of what Robs (formerly) car could do . Not bad!
Now....lets not forget that one measly second is a lifetime...but you GOTTA be happy! Time for you to go to work and break into the lower tens...this game will never end!

the car had more in it i know, but i never touched the suspention, tire press or air bags. this was due to the boost adj between every run. next time out i will be tweeking with suspention, and hope to see 10.5-10.4
and tyhe car will be tunes for this boost. we shale see.

Jam, by the way. I found a few tricks for your set up.
if you could, send me pics of the hose that is about 18" long with a 90*bend, looks like a radiator hose. send a pic and the size of it. If it isnt right, I'll buy what i found and bring them with me when i come to do the install. this will help.
also the air cleaner. I might have a new idea for that as well.
Does or will your car have a tube k-member?
