it's a fun little setup, keeps the AC and everything in the stock location.

hope that helps, if you have any more questions hit me up. i'm currently selling it to a friend becuase i'm going with a bigger setup now and turning the car into a track car. it's been a fun project. i have more fun building it than racing it lol

Cool! Thanks for the info. I want to do a turbo setup bad, I wanted to do a rear-mount but I think I've changed my mind. I'm looking at front-mount setups but I'm on a budget.

i like how the aps kit was designed. one day i might upgrade to it. but from what i hear is that their turbos are garbage for the f body's

Their turbos are crap from what I understand. If I do buy a new APS kit I'll sell the turbos right off the bat. I'm sure there is no shortage of APS guys needing new turbos. Then, I'll have to call Turbonetics for some bigger, ball-bearing turbos.

i have had an STS kit on the car now for 2 and a half years, and i only wish i had dug deeper to realize how many front mount kits there are out there before i bought what i did, dont get me wrong the STS set up is a good quick, cheap and easy way into F.I. but i would love to upgrade. any one have any sugestions as to how much i could possibly sell my kit for? it still works good as new.

I would keep the turbo, bov, and wastegate, sell the other parts and with that money buy the hot piping and down pipe from josh @ kytp. I think its like a grand for it. Correct me if I'm wrong people. Then you would just need odd and end litttle stuff.

i know this answer is prolly out there some were but how much power can a stock crank hold? ive heard only 500...but i read in onther post that the stock crank would be good for 6-700rwhp? im trying to narrow my possabilities..i have about a thousand ideas running through my head and i think im getting close..i can get my hands on a complete 6.0 truck motor for $400, wiring harness and all...what would be a good set of heads to run? ive read that the stock 346-370 c.i. is good for a steet/strip set up which is what im going for, im just wanting to get somethin going...

Its going to be the rods and pistons that you need to concentrate on. Stock cranks can hold lots of power... are you on stock internals now?...

right on, umm, being that i recently ran a fastest of a 12.41@112.7 with a bone stock LS1 that has roughly 97k on it, i know a rear is in order, but were could i possibly see myself running if i add an LS6 intake, TB, FMIC, 76mm Turbo, and stiffer valve springs and stronger pushrods, and upping the boost?

Too broad for me to try and answer... but Im sure that in short the answer is... alot faster LOL...

What was your combo when you ran the 12.4?... The 450hp in your sig will take you a hell of alot faster than 12.4s...so I guess it was before that?...

The question is how much boost is you stock internal 346 gonna hold when you do all that. I would guess 12.00

im just wanting to see a pass that puts me deep into the 11's. the 6.0 truck motor is going to be the serious build, but im just wanting to push the stocker to its limits...i know they say that 98 has the weakest rod bolts out of any LS1 and that they can barley manage 500 hp. well im already making 517 at the motor...so im gonna keep going till she blows...would an LS6 intake work for the build or should i go with the edlebrock?

i would spend that near 1000 bucks on something else.... an increase in boost would make up for that 1000 bucks spent on that intake
