Default 5.3 twin turbo?

ok heres what im looking to do now keep in mind ive never done a turbo setup or an ls1 build before lol i have a stock 5.3 with 40k miles on it well it has a mild cam but thats all its out of an 02 tahoe so its got the truck intake setup which i plan to leave. the motor is going to go into my 79 mustang and i want twin turbos with a front mount intercoooler i want to use the truck manifolds because of clearance issues now here is what i want to know are there any used turbos off some other car i could use that would work alright ? what size injectors ? is a single turbo setup more practical? i only wanna run like 6 or 7 psi is that safe? i want twins so i can just figured put 1 on each pipe throw on some 60# injectors have some piping bent up and have it tuned but what is the cheapest way out of this i dont mind searching junkyards for parts and what is the cheapest way to get those injectors i was looking and the prices are outrageous

^^ lol, take it easy on the guy man. you can do a single turbo setup by reversing the truck manifolds and routing all the hot pipes toward the front (close to the rad) and that is where you make both of them join in to one turbo flange of your choice. but i do not know how much clearance you will have up front with a stang.

it is all good. as long a you learn from your mistakes.

alrght im just exploring all my options trying to figure out whats the best way to do this still havent decided on FI or NA i used to build alot of 5.0l's but thats a whole different ball game. whats a good turbo to use for this im only looking for low boost something with an internal wastegate would be nice and what size injectors would be good? also how well do the stock bottom ends handle boost?

you could y a single turbo into your exhaust or just one big exhaust! but if your going to take on a conversion like that i think the exhaust will be the easy part. i would look around this forum a bit that will answer alot of your questions trust me!

model off of the LS4 front wheel drives man....we have two hearders that collect with a crossover pipe and then one single downpipe that comes out....there are some differences with the cars vs. trucks...like alum. block not iron and shorter crank shaft for the transverse mount etc...intake is so tiny on the alum block for the sedans, but we are getting ready to do a kit on mine....
