Ryan

The switches are for the fuel pump controller override, waterpump for the IC's, etc.

Bottle is a halon fire system, cheap insurance just incase.

Mike, that's exactly what i'm doing. Still on vaction till next monday. I'm in process of clearing out the piles of everything that built up in the last 6 weeks. Orders, bills, work, all of it.

yeah, they got here right before we left last week. Obviously I didn't do much other than set them aside at the time. I'll crack them open this weekend.

Cool, im glad you got them.
No big rush, Just hurry up!
I do however have to see that car go one day!! It is part of the reason for me going TT.
I also cant wait to try the Launch off the 2-step.
What rpm you think i should start at? 4 or 5k?

Hey, Noyzee.
FYI, I do not see any boost while the 2-step is on. With the clutch engaged, there is still no load on the engine, and therefore my supercharger doesn't create any boost. It might be different with a turbocharger, but for me there was no difference in power off the line with or witout the 2-step. I need an automatic with a trans-brake to get boost off the line.

Bypass valve still open perhaps?

I never did watch to see how much i made on the line with the new turbos, but with the turbos any help to get them spinning before the launch significantly reduces time to full boost after the launch. It was nearly 3/4 second reduction in launch to full boost on the incon's for me, free-rev versus 2 step launch. FWIW

I hope it is different. I was told the turbos are able to build a pound or 2 of the 2-step depending on rmp to turbo size, But it helps. But the biggest thing is it should keep my launches more consistant!
Thats a big thing for me.

I think you're right. I think thats why so many TT Supras use 2-steps for drag racing.
But I'm scrapping the T-56. I can't get it to shift properly, and I don't feel like paying someone to troublshoot the tranny, clutch, or both.
I KNOW the trans-brake will load the engine, and help build boost off the supercharger. So the 2-step will be only for consistent launches at this point.
Good luck with yours. And BTW, nice numbers to end the season!

since superchargers are belt driven...shouldnt they still build boost w/ rpm, not load? I'm confused...

Me too, thus my question on the bypass valve. Superchargers are the inferior power adder anyway, everyone should have turbos

Maybe you need to beat that 9.81 record set by a supercharger first?

Somehow I think Harlan can beat a 9.81. What did the last set up run? 10.0000000?

wait a sec....does your car run yet, PSJ? Just curious.
