Head gaskets

What head gasket do i need. Im putting ported 317's on a 5.3 with a t76. Do I need 5.3 head gaskets or 6.0 head gaskets?????????????

6.0l head gaskets, they have to clear the combustion chambers of the heads.

ok great I was not sure if there would be any issue with the smaller bore of the 5.3 with the larger head gasket.

u may have a prob. with the chamber itself. the 317 was designed for 4.00 bore. however u can run ls1 or ls2 heads withoutn a prob. as long as u use 5.7 gaskets.
however if u do go ahead with the 317, make sure to use a 6.0 gasket or
a ls9 gasket

good question I was under the impression it was ok when i bought the heads but now im not so sure. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? Does anyone know of any 6ltr short blocks around lol.
