Nope. Never had a D1. Went straight from a P1 to the F1

I'll let ya know if I end up selling the 60#ers man.

Damn, dont know why I keep thinking you had a D1SC on there. Maybe you were talkin about one at one time & went straight to the F1 instead? Hell I cant remember, LOL.

very nice build write up... I'm also in the process of going from a P1 to an F1C, gonna be fun...
as for the 60lbers... my car made 787rw with them maxed, and spraying a ton of meth through a dual nozzle setup, and fully built 1800rwhp potential fuel system (except for the 60's) they held me back 13hp from my goal and it really sucked... so, you will need larger injectors for sure.
Good luck with the rest of the build!!!

Thanks guys.

allthrotle- I don't know where that headplate was purchased from. It was on my car when I bought it, so the previous owner bought it. I'm pretty sure it was made by MBA though woould be my best guess.

Mr.Big- yea, I was thinking that may be the case. If my injectors are the sole purpose for holding me back, I will be happy to buy another set and continue on. I hope that will be my only problem making that power!

The valve covers I will be using are black. The red ones, as stated, were just used to install the engine so the black ones didnt get scuffed up. I have lots of pics of my car sure. Click on my profile and look at the albums I have made. Also click my garage for more info on the car itself

I probably won't ever sell it, I've entertained the idea of getting an F1 for mine, but I just don't have the $$ right now!

Hey, if you wanna upgrade at the end of the year, I might be looking for a used D1 head unit by then. Just shoot me a PM.

I'm gonna go ahead and step up to some 80# injectors. The 60#ers are for sale if anyone is interested.

Awesome build man! Good choice to upgrade injectors, just hope the 79s are big enough though. Mine were at 114% @ 800rwhp. The meth should help you though, I don't have meth Good luck with the rest of the build, can't wait to see more progress and the end result.

Welp, sold the 60# injectors. I'm gonna actually order the high impedence Siemens Deka 80# injectors within a couple of days.

Also made a little progress tonight. Cleaned all the accessories and painted the brackets and the waterpump, and the part of the procharger that wasnt polished. It doesnt look like much from the pics, but it took all night! lol

The procharger looks absolutely badass in person now! The whole polished and black theme suits the headunit well too

Haha thanks.. But your 800rwhp is through a crazy stall and an automatic. It should be a little easier for me to make the power thru a 6 speed But your "measly" 800rwhp would absolutely squash my little TA like a bug in a race!
