Made a little more progress tonight. Got the AIT bung welded on. I decided to put it on the bottom of the pipe so the sensor isnt visable from looking down into the engine bay. Just makes for a cleaner appearance. I need to go back over the pipe again with some paint, but here is the result of tonight's progress:

Surgery is complete! I'm just waiting for the computer now to get back from the tuner for the initial rough baseline tune to get her running enough if nothing else to just be able to load it up on a trailer and take to the dyno for the tune. I will be running this setup with a MAF tune for now. Plans are to go to a SD tune here eventually, but for now, it will be MAF.

That looks sick man. I wanna see that thing on the dyno.

On a side note, I'm ready to confuse the crap out of the announcers at the midnights, lol.

God damn thats sexy all put back together man. Great job. I know how long the car has been down & how much it sucks. I can't even imagine how giddy you feel to fire it up, get it tuned & lay into it for the first time. Enjoy brotha.

Welp, she's alive! Got the computer back today, and she fired right up after priming. Well, not exactly right up.. It needed a little assistance from me holding the throttle slightly down. I temporarily adjusted the screw for now, but I'm gonna have to drill the hole out in the new TB to probably something close to the size of the hole in my old TB blade. I took some vids with my camera, but the microphone is absolutely horrible with it. I then tried to take some vids with my cell phone, but the mic on it doesnt register too well either I'll have to borrow a camcorder and get back with yall, so stay tuned I'm suprised at how well it idles with those 80# injectors. Glen did an awesome job on setting them up with the very limited information he had. Next step is dyno tuning
