Default got to run the turd!!

well i got to run some yesterday found out that my car is still a turd it was 89-92 degrees all day and also got the weight of my car (3742 with driver) and this is what it ran
1St run
60 1.736
1/8th 7.225 at 97.418
1/4 11.250
no MPH

2nd Run
60 1.707
1/8th 7.227 at 94.316
1/4 11.2336 at 126.059
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0pIFpppQEc
all in all not to bad but i was hopeing for a bit faster im sure it will do better in the fall. i did make it to the last 5 cars in my class then the blower belt broke! had a great time today
the car also did slow down as the day went on and we had no cool down time my next to runs were 11.30 and 11.32

oh and the car dyno was 540/460@ 12 PSI today i dont think i went over 10 so that makes me happy lets me know that with some cooler weather and a race gas tune maybe the car will run some 10s? ill find out in a few months!

Nice. I am definitely waiting on cooler weather too. DA's over 3000 suck with a procharger down here in Texas.

Nice times indeed. Would be nice to hit the 10 mark

However, what kind of CR are you running? 540rwhp seems a bit low for pushing 12psi. I would have expected close to 600.

Ricky, you're a little traction away from 10's. The MPH is good for the times. Those .26 seconds are in the 60'. Cool weather will make it even faster.

Glad the car's running well for ya

126mph will get you in the 10s, all you have to do is cut a better 60 foot. Cooler weather will make a big difference..

I think your car has a lot more in it than you think. My old set-up with the D1 was running times close to that, a little faster(high 10s) because my 60s were in the 1.5-1.6 range but trapping in the 126-128 range. That was in the same temperature, low 90s, the first time I took it out. Then when I took it out when the temp was in the 60s I was running low 10s and trapping in the upper 130s. Your car has good potential, it's amazing how much weather can change your times. Don't worry about your dyno numbers, the cars has proven your making good power with those traps and it being hot out. I bet you go mid tens if you work on getting your 60 down just a little, even 1.6s should get you there and of course a little cooler weather. That's no turd you got, it's quick with the potential to be fast!

I dont see why you couldnt make 10's soon, numbers seem low to me for 12 psi but through an auto its not bad. Also, numbers are for ***** and giggles.....the true numbers are the track and your car ovbiously has it there lol....better then my car atleast lol...also with a M6 on 9psi, stock bottom end and P/P stock heads I make 580rw...thats why I asked lol

Numbers seem a little off to me, was the converter locked or unlocked? What does the car weigh? How hard is the D1SC working?

Edit: Just seen the weight, your not light by no means, lol. Wait till it cools and get the 60ft down and it should do 130+ deep into the 10's
