Oh snap! I remember posting a while back on this thread some contact E-Mails for APS I got from another member. I kinda always found it interesting that there was no "peter@aps" e-mail address. However, looking at this there is a "david@aps" e-mail address. Coincidence?

Reardless of all the identity questions, let me some up everybodys general opinion:

APS= WASTED MONEY SHITTY PRODUCT

Even if replacing the turbos solves the problem, thats not the solution. APS advertises a good number of false truth's about there F-body TT kits, and It is not bolt-on. its simply a good "starting point" for a DIY TT kit

I truely hope this negative internet publicity, that they dont seemed to worried about, causes them to close their doors. You'd have to be crazy to be in the automotive aftermarket industry & not be worried about whats happening right here in this thread & how far it has already spread. Your losing potiential customers everyday & your not worried? LOL, the end will come soon for APS I believe.

Even more proof of your ignorance. Well I guess you proved how smart you were with hiring Inall to being with so everyone already knows what type of person you are as well.

****** crook. Takin people hard earned money & not providing the products as advertised. You & Inall should both be thrown in a ditch & shot you POS.

peter,
you never answered my question. you said you did nothing wrong? and we have to send the turbos to you. ok so lets say we do. and you find ou they are bad. and they are not your fault but the fault of the compnay you got them from.

Does APS stand up for us and say here is two new trubos(and pays for ship) then you(APS) goes after your suppler?

Also can i get my upgrade inlet tubes?

Not opinion you little chicken ****. It's been proven the product advertised was not what was recieved. CUSTOMERS have posted this in the thread already. And you STILL refuse to anwser direct questions from CUSTOMERS about the products. Why dont you find your *****, man up & anwser the questions on the table?

And whats your solution, sending in fucked up turbos at the CUSTOMERS expense just so you can shaft them again? Your a ****** tool. Like I said before you should be issuing shipping labels to EVERYONE with your **** turbos to be replaced at YOUR cost. Thats what a company worth a **** would do. But then again a company worth a **** wouldnt hire a POS like Dave Inall who is already known to have ripped the community off before.

Your VERY lucky you are all the way in Australia.

I think he is the owner. Saw this on their site.

For some people, factory power just ain’t enough. Peter Luxon’s APS outfit is one of the new breed of aftermarket tuning shops

Well I have 2 years and 24k on my set-up so far. Started to get some smoking late this year. Turbo v-bands seem to loosen up. I will probably pull it all apart this winter and go through it all. Not sure I can afford the LG turbo's but may try to get these rebuilt properly since I am at low boost.

Well thats your opinion. The turbos are iffy for sure. Mine are alive still 5000 miles . Maybe the knock offs started after. Mine are not even water cooled right now.Do to one being cracked internally so yeah likely mine are not mits either. I am babying them for now hoping they last me till end of next month. I have replacement centers from ebay to install if need be and will likely order lg upgrades over the winter. The lg upgrades will flow enough at 70 pounds per minute for my 408 at decent revs pretty sure they can do 7000 which is my max occasional redline. The supplied 20gs are a bit small for high revs especially on a bigger motor like 408 like mine. Still many factory turbos are purposely undersized and some are still pushed very hard and still keep working.

Its almost for sure the turbo are knock offs we have some places say they are and Peter is silent on this. He should be violently denying it ,offering proof it isn't so and offering to replace any failed turbo off warranty with a genuine mits center free shipping both ways.

Not sure what you mean about the rest of your post. My kit installed fine ,it was an extensive install but not overally hard. The parts fit well ,look good and so far the kit is working fine. I stented my own inlet tubes for 30 bucks of 3 inch oval exhaust piping. I will fix my own sway bar issue with some cheap spacers and shortening my endlinks. I don't have any overheating problems but don't run air much and it don't get that hot up here. And it did warn in the kit cooling system upgrades could be needed.

Many places like LG said the kit has good parts just the turbo issue. Still agree people that bought the kit were ripped off if they didn't get genuine mits 20gs as it was said they were in the advertising. It said bulletproof as well.
Real 20g don't fail at high rates, they hardly ever fail. Real mits is reliable.

So fine bitch all you want about the turbos being crap.they most likely are at least a large percentage of the f body ones. I don't think near as many of the vette or gto ones. They maybe started to shaft the f body guys for some reason. Increase profits whatever. Not hearing near as many dud vette or gto turbos and they are same turbo in some of the kits like c5 and gto.

But sick of hearing that about the rest of the kit especially from people that don't even have it . The kit would work fine on a 346 kept to factory rev limit at least. Talking with genuine 20gs. For bigger engines upgraded turbos will be better.
No idea if the extreme kit turbos are also knock offs. Thank god that other turbos like genuine mits tdo6 h centers will just plug and play in there.

So lets keep the focus here. APS is almost for sure guilty of selling knock offs. They said they were mits and bulletproof in their advertising right on their website.Think they are saying it. That is fraud and bait and switch. But not sure anything can be done legally from north america to australia.

And this bad pr on this and other forums is not good for any company.
But likely they will just change their name and come back again.

But I also find karma does work even if it takes awhile. And paybacks a bitch!

God, this reminds me of when I was ripped off by Jelly (A.P.E.) for a motor. I'm still getting letters about his bankruptcy.

Peter, you're pretty rotten. If history repeats (and it always does), you'll be getting what you're deserving.

You guys that got screwed, it's class-action lawsuit time! Good luck.

LS1Tech, you guys are pretty rotten as well (again) for letting this scum bag sponsor still post here.

Isn't the APS kit just a cheap rip-off of the LPE twin turbo setup?
