Some more video of my spooling my 1.25 a/r 80mm turbo at the track

Sounds like I have a honda motor during the burnout because of the typical no muffler tin can honda next to me. If you turn the volume up you can kinda hear me spooling against the 2 step over the announcer. My car is pretty quiet. If I could get this thing to 60' better I'd be really happy. That was a 1.55 60' I think.
Sounds like an air compressor safety valve popping open when my waste gate opens up. Looks like I'm making full boost (15psi) about 20' off the line with a 8-9psi launch. I am using the quick spool valve in this video as well.

Your ride is sooooo quiet lol. Was that at LVMS? What was the air temps? Your mph just seems way down to me. I was trapping 141 on 12 psi with a 1.1ar ex housing at 3700lbs in 100*+ heat.

Just remember, everything about my setup is "WRONG" for drag racing and it still works pretty good. Notice I only shifted once on the pass
Everyone on here says the MPH is down. The other night a C6 Z06 was trapping consistent 112's. C5's were trapping 98-99mph *shrug*. The pass was made in late april so the DA was probably pretty good and low 4000's, raceweight was 3850ish.
I'd love to see how much time your car looses at LVMS, would be an interesting comparison.

You'll need more boost or more gear to improve the 60'. It looks good and that MPH is fine for that ET. If anything, it's a little high. Probably because of the gears. I bet those gears make it a dream to drive on the highway.

Venom, that's pretty typical for a Honda, a whole lot of noise and smoke in the burn out, then bog/stall/break on launch.

More boost or more gear is going to require more traction which is the major issue. I'm hoping that some rear suspension work helps. Front shocks are Strange dual adjustables set to loosest on rebound and tightest on compression. As can be seen in the video the nose dips pretty good after launch unless I pulled the wheel and it was just settling, I can't really tell.

I run QA1 R's in the front which are single adjustable for rebound (up) only but are set hard down from the manufacturer. I run the 275 springs in the front. In the back I run the Jegster Tunnel Mount Adj Torque Arm, Jegster adjustable LCA's, Comp Engineering 3 way adj rear shocks set to 50/50, a hard road racing spring, Spohn Drag Bar, and LCA relocation brackets on bottom hole. This stuff is all attached to an S60 w/ 3.73 gears and 15X10 rims w/ MT 325/50/15's. My car hooks in the burn out box . I cut a 1.36 60 last friday with my stock junk motor before the charge pipe blew off.

Wow...that thing came up on boost instant. Twin scroll with quick spool valve FTW. We have put all the twin scroll units on the shelf now and even the TC guys can now enjoy twin scroll housings. Also We have the GT Garrett series units and Borg Warners as well. Just need to get more quick spool valves in.

i figure you are giving up about a half a second with the whole against the grain approach.. just sayin.
a convenient example would be my last pass
12.5psi boost 1.52 short time 9.5 at 142
figure in the elevation so id spot you the 2.5# boost difference
6 liter stock tb ls6 intake through a cat back 3400 stall 4l80 w/ 3.0 rear gear (but 27" tire). i weigh about the same and run 17* advance at that boost.
dont recall my iat's but i was just using tap water in the cooler, no ice.
*this is for constructive purposes only, not trying to rain on your parade* i think your car has a lot left in it given the chance.

I have a feeling I'm going to find 2-3 mph and .2-.3 ET with just changing out my inter cooler piping to 3" and installing my 4" core I/C. I'm pushing over 400ft/sec airspeed in my 2.25-2.5" pipes.
Some more gearing would probably help me some now that I'm spooling faster, I just wouldn't like driving my car as much so the grandma gears are here to stay... unless someone want's to donate a built 4l80/converter/controller.

I agree, but don't forget the fact that I'm also a rear mount and giving up some efficiency just due to that. A lot of stuff working against me but still working good .

I mean, why do you keep going to the track? You know your car runs mid/low 10s at mid 130s. What's the point of "testing/tuning" if you aren't making any "tuning" changes to make your car go faster??? It seems you know what your car can run in its current set-up, so just use it as the grocery getter you seem to proclaim its built for!!!! <---Not trying to clown, low 10s is SMOKIN fast for a street car, but I just see so much more potential out of your set-up!!
Good news for you though!!!! I'm selling my turbo kit the first week of October!!!!! You already have the turbo, it'll be an easy swap!!!! lol

When I roll around town on my 28" street tires and 3.25 gears I don;t even use third unless I'm on the freeway. Even on the freeway my revs are nothing high at all.....maybe a tick over 2000rpms if that. I try to get into high gear ASAP at the track to take advantage of the 1:1 gear ratio. You aren't even using your cars full HP output racing down the track in 1st and 2nd gear.
