Default Too much power for Rearend?

Question.. basically the mods are in my sig. I'd like to get it retuned but I am worried the rear end will fall apart when its being tuned.

My goal is 600rwhp on a mustang dyno.. And I'd assume the torque would be around 700 maybe more.. idk.. - will the stock 10 bolt be able to handle the tuning session on the dyno? Or am I worrying too much or being an idiot trying to dyno it? lol

This winter is when I plan on getting a 9" /w driveshaft, etc (may be tax return time, all depends)

I don't see why it wouldn't. You aren't launching it on the dyno.

I have put over 850hp threw the 10bolt on the dyno. I was nervous, but no drama.

you don't launch off a transbrake or dump the clutch on the dyno ********.

you'll spin the tires on the rollers before you break anything, just don't take it to the track or do anything stupid and expect it to hold.

I would "think" you would be okay on a dyno. It would probably take a **** the first time you punched it on the street though.

No one else noticed he don't have anything about motor mods in his sig and he is trying to get 700rwtq? I think the stock bottom end has more of a chance of taking a crap than the rear on the dyno.

Hey matt, I started doing my turbo when you started doing yours and it sounds like yours came along quite nicely. My car is only putting down 450 HP on a mustang dyno. My tunner called me and had extra time so he tunned the car with my meth kit and a 100 shot of nos it was his kit and was trying to sell it to me. He put on about 20 miles on the dyno and the transmission went out!! But the stock 10 bolt lived strong. I never got a final number. The highest peak he got was 650 HP. GOODLUCK!

I've done all of the above and my 10-bolt has lasted since 02 when I bought it. 100% stock and unopened.

I know someone that pulled a 1.4 60' spraying off the line with ten bolt and drag radials.......I guess you never know til you try it. Some break easily and others dont
