Sound good Tom buddy!
It pretty much had to be crank wheel from the symptoms nothing else really did make sense. Pain in butt to have to fix but what can you do.Cars are pains sometimes.

But hey you should be rocking and rolling in a few months and with those new snails.

ABOUT FREAKING TIME !LOL These bitches (should at the very least)send you a new EXTRA crank IMO just for all of the work and lost time you youve got into this mess. Be Cool did this for me after one of their bad rads ruined my brand new Rossler stage (3) tranny a few years ago. It didnt cover nearly half of my cost but atleast they made some type of attempt to save their name. Ide call em and let them know what you finally found out and see or ask about some type of compensation from them for your time and labor to have your engine installed and removed and then reinstalled again.Ask em what they can do for you in either cash or parts .If they say screw you ide let them know that your going to post pics of their bum crank on here EVERY CHANCE you get and on every other site you can think of. Sounds harsh, I know .....but when you buy a freaking crank BRAND NEW from a company ....It should be right

Well glad to see everything is getting worked out with the car I want to see what she does now. Going to re-dyno mine soon with new plugs, plugs were fouled last time we dynoned and play with the tuning to see what we really get out of her, I'm going to hit the 1000hp mark even if I have to blow it up doing it. LOL Then take the tranny out for a re-build and take it to the track. Keep us posted.

update: well its been over 3 months and still do not have the engine back yet. he just got the block back ( he has someone else do his mechine work for him) not loving this.
The block was rusted on the cyl walls. the valve seat on the heads were rusted. it had alot of metal in the pan still from when the trust bearing went out in it. WTF was i thinking, should of just built my own engine from the get go.

bright side of this ive used the time to built a new brake setup, no ABS, line lock. got 3in stud for the front wheels and 5/8-18 studs in the rear now

And to top it all off i think im going to charge to fix the engine as well. ill post back when i fined out.

You for sure had some bad luck there. I was terrrified my new 408 was fubar when fired it up and the one aps turbo was internally cracked and pumped antifreeze into my brand new motors oil. We did find out in first couple minutes luckily buddy was checking oil constantly. So hoping it didn't hurt bearings or anthing. Put 6000 miles on it and everything seems good, no excessive metal in oil. Oil has been clear since ran oil cooling only but gave it like 5 oil changes in 500 miles! I thought cracked block. Was ready to sell the car for dirt cheap..almost did. Then buddy figured out it was dud aps..yeah I know big suprise there. And luckly the water cooling was optional on the mits 20g ,course not so sure its optional on knockoff 20gs.
But who knows if mine are knockoffs ,they were working for 6000 miles but at minimum gate boost.

Anyway off the subject. Hopefully we are both up and running again in a month or so. You are waiting on your engine and I am waiting on my new Ron Davis rad and those LG upgrades to show up. Mail can be very slow to Canada especially if customs gets in the middle of things and fubars things up.

I think we should both build us some 427 or 454 LSX motors for backup Tom over next winter. I learned that from my talons..can never be too rich or have enough spare engines and sometimes trannys, rear ends..
**** or tires gonna cost ya!

I still figured could do mine with 10 an fittings on the turbo returns to t fitting you can get them so they are one piece with two 10 an inlets and 10 an out run that to the scavenger in and then 10 an out to drivers side fitting in pan which you can also get in 10 an. Then simply plug off the passenger side one. This would be all stainless of course and figured could mount it somewhere around where my air pump used to be.
But main thing wondering is if the 10 an feed fittings on the return will give enough room since its so tight in there but figure if they won't work for returns run directly to oil pan with no scavenger with scavenger they should work ok as you don't have to worry about running them at like 45 or 90 degree angles if you are following this.

That said please show pics of how you do it guys.I will only put one on after LG turbos and after see how much smoke I get. If not getting any not putting the pump on the car. But would still like to fix up the crappy aps return hoses with stainless.
