New best this weekend, getting there..
Hard to believe I havent ran this thing since May, but took it out this weekend to get the BS3 dialed in and even in 3200+ DA it ran pretty well considering I was doing more tuning then worrying about what it ran.
Put the 7.25/3.4 pulley on and was seeing around 16psi At 7000rpm with the D1SC, ran a best of 6.03 @ 118 in the 1/8 with a pretty weak 1.37 60 foot which is better than the car ran at 700' DA back in early April so I'm pretty happy. Not sure if I'll be able to get it in the 8s with the D1SC, I ned to work on the 60 foot a little and get lucky with a good weather day and get a little more weight out, but it will be fun trying..
Few passes from Friday, if anything its consistent and fun to drive

Other car went mid-high 1.20s, 1.360s this car is doing is pretty slow but the 60 foots drop off pretty good in crappy weather. 1800' elevation trcak, 95% humidity and 29.9 barometer put the hurt on a small blower.
One day I should do a youtube account, those play on ipods/iphone.
Going to take mid 5.70s in the 1/8 to squeak an 8 in, thats a long way from 6.0s, but this is only the 5th time I've run this thing since it was done so it will get there..

Seriously! I have asked KP his set-up (simple really) like 10 times and I still can't get my expensive *** suspension to leave right. I need to tear all my **** out and mimic his parts lol.

September/October and March/April works better
No matter what you spray in there or how cold the IC is you cant put air density back in. When you have a little peanut blower the only thing that you can spray in there and help help in high DA is nitrous. C16 and IAT really isnt a big issue until you get over 200, I dont get over 150-160 on an 85 degree day. Warmer than 85 and I'm on the boat, why suffer at the dragstrip.
Its the blower and fairly light weight, really, this car is has a lot of different parts then the old one and it 60 foots pretty close. Its way easier to get a centri blower to 60 foot IMO, turbo is all about power management to get it to 60 foot well. I have the advantage of being able to hit the tires hard and have the power come on slow and torque not peak until 5700 rpm so its not hard to get it to 60 foot well.
My old car had a random tech torque arm and 50 dollar shocks in the rear and would out 60 foot a lot of 7 second cars, too bad it didnt have enough power to run quicker. But since I like to race it and not work on the car I think its easier to spend the time getting it to 60 foot and ET well using as little power as possible.

Nice 1/8 mile times. You have come a long way pretty quickly on this one. Nice job.

Yea, considering I really havent even run this one much I'm pretty happy with it. Its just been sitting the last three months, been a hot and rainy summer. But I used that time to get the 8.50 cage done and install a BS3 so now I'm ready to beat up on it a little.

Well, beat it into the 8's!!lol if the old one 60'd in the mid/high 1.20's this one should as well. Seems to have nicer parts on it.
Like you say though, with the little peanut blower your 8 is all about the first 330' and, of course, the atmosphere.
Com'n good air, Com'n good air, Com'n good air.
Little D1, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can" lol
I gotta tell you I liked to watch this combo, no matter if it is time and time again. It is just such a simple recipe to the low nines, high eights as you have proven. I have never seen so many high 700, low 800 RWHP cars run mid 10's, than many that belong on this forum (no knock intended)
Someing to be said for such a simple combination. Lately it seems every thread on here is about a turbo build. Definitely can't argue their performance....but the 'forced induction' forum is a little unbalanced.

As far as the turbos being popular there is really no 'big' power blower setups that bolt on these, except for EPP's cog or a crank drive but the HP per dollar is up there pretty good compared to truck manifold/91mm setup thats for sure. If was looking to push a land yacht into the 8s or make 1000+rwhp on a dyno I'd do a turbo but I'm not so I'll stick with something simple and dead nuts reliable.
Plus since most of the fast LS cars have turbos on them, except for Ronnie Duke running in the 7s a few years ago, no one has stepped up and build a badass LS blower drag car. People copy what they see work..
