That kit used the F-body drive configuration. Last time I called, the kit with the blower, manifold, intercooler, fuel rails which use short LS2 style injectors, 10 rib drive, in black was $5900 I should add that this kit would require modification of the cowl. Nothing that some major hackery cant fix. You'd also need to fabricate a kenne bell type inlet manifold as the one supplied puts the TB where the firewall is.

This is OLD news - the real kit for an F-bod comes with a big-*** Sawzall and a huge ****** shoehorn...
Absolutely no peep on Whipple's site about anything new for the F-bod, because not enought people want to use the Sawzall...

old news how so? i've contacted whipple several times since i got my f-body and every time they responded it was no plans. this is another company whose pushing it, they deal tons with the mustang community and do tons of twinscrew swaps on termi's, gt500's, lightnings, and standard gt's. so theyre pushing a whipple setup for the f-body. now like i said, how they plan on getting the 3.4L to fit is beyond me, i can see a 2.3 or maybe 2.9L fitting, with minimal cutting, lowered k-member, and moded motor mounts. but who knows. maybe whipple will come out with an all new intake manifold thats extremly low profile as well? who knows. just gonna have to wait and see.

I would be pretty amazed if they all of the sudden decided to do allll of the R/D for a kit to install on cars thats prodection was seized 7+ years ago. I think they would have done this a long time ago if they were ever going to. They have had the LS1 engine kit for a while....but more geared for sandrail installs and whatnot.

I could prob pretty easily put it on my car. Although I dont think I'de be able to go WOT till I hit 5th gear and not being able to use wot would kinda suck.
Plus I dont think this thing would stay cool for the things I want to do like hit roadcourses

The whipple website has a new update promoting their up and coming kit for NEW F-bodies

It uses the 2.9 compressor. Over the years, I've heard rumors about a T/A with a whipple but still havent seen any pictures of it or any other 4th gen with one, sawzalled or not. Really surprises me since I see all these other cars with parts chopped up in the engine compartment. Whats the big deal putting one on a race car?

I remember seeing something about a Whipple 3.4L F-body kit a long time ago. It was already a reality, but it was for the F-body serpentine system on an LS1... not to be confused with being made for the F-body itself. Basically, all it was intended for was to pull an F-body LS1 and drop it into something with more room (like a third gen with a cowl hood *drool*).
