murillo in san antonio had a bad *** rear mount lsx mustang. the turbos were in the trunk, very trick. i think we should all be able to admit that fm is more efficient but a rm is a way for someone w/minimal fab skills to get into building a system that can put down very good numbers if done correctly while keeping your ac etc...

i know what your trying to tell me, but a rear is obviously set up different then a front. i've been told you can't just bolt a traditional front turbo on the back and expect the same results, it's a different set up. what i paid for was not cheap... i paid for it to be done right. as far as engineering, i guess it was impossible to put a man on the moon. if the system sucked as much as some say then i guess they should have been out of the business several years ago but SEMA keeps asking them to come back, they are improving their fabrication everyday and still making money. selling the idea to automakers is like comparing something as wonderful as the APS system, are they offered on production GM cars? is ATI? procharged? ...ect...? it's all aftermarket, not production.... i think the only company that offers a production F.I. car is SLPwith their '09G8 firehawk with a s/c that is advertised as 500hp but actually dyno's about 430. kinda steep for a 18k upgrade, for that price it should be putting down 500 to the wheels minimum.

and who is to say a front mount is superior over a rear mount?

ok i can agree with that, i never said a front mount system will be easier to do, but my point is why go the easy way out when you are going to be spending all this money. and mustangs are really not that bad in the engine bay space department unlike the f bodies.

you did come off saying the front mount was superior & some people just don't want to take the time to dick around under the hood of an f-body

i am to say that they are superior, and all the automotive engineers

also i am amazed at you idiocy, what i was trying to tell you is that the sts idea is allot different then the ordinary turbo system and if it was beneficial the automakers would snap at it, i see plenty of cars using the turbo's close to the motor (like the aps system with cast manifolds) and allot of cars using a roots type blower, straight from the factory, but not a single car with the turbo in the back

no i did not. i was saying why place the turbo in the back of the mustang when you have all that room upfront.

you know what hawk584 i am going to stop arguing with you, you obviously do not have much knowledge in automobiles and you seem to ignore all of the hard evidence i give you that supports my point of view and you basic argument is "don't knock on it until you try it " and i am honestly tired of explaining things to you when you fail to listen.

do you have a rear mount? do you have a mid mount? hell do you even have a turbo vehicle? if you dont then how can you give real life experience besides passing on things you read on the net?
