gas mileage
gas mileage heres a stupid question, what kind of gas mileage do you think i can expect to get from a fully forged 383 lt1, running 12lbs with a d1sc thru twin intercoolers?
reason i ask is my formy was just totaled and i found a trans am with said mods, but i drive close to 50 city miles a day, and just dont know if this car will even be an option strictly because of fuel economy. i got 13 in my old h/c/i lt1, how much worse am i looking at boosted?

NICE!! thats what i wanted to hear man. to be honest, in vegas, you really cant lay into too often, traffic is the worst. thats good to hear, because if it was say 10mpg or lower, the car would probably be a no go, but if i can squeeze say 12, ill probably be all over it. thanks man
i'm getting about 23-25mpg. highway at 80mph in 6th, a needle with below 2k.rpm's w/3.42 gears. 385cu.in.LT1 T67 rear-mount turbo...

FWIW to those who still are interested in the first question, I get 13 MPG city driving, and as good as 21 MPG on the highway. Average about 14-15 MPG.
If my foots been in it a bit during the tank of gas, I've seen as bad as 8 MPG before
This is all in my D1SC, 15#'s of boost, FMIC, pump gas.

nice! thats better than i ever got with my car. just spoke with the owner yesterday, he said around the same, 18-20 highway, which it will probably never see, but i will be more than content with 13mpg. thanks for the input!!
