Default $4100 for the LS1 STS Kit

For the guys how think that the bolt on kit is Cheap

$3700 plus the $400 for the methanol injection
I just made a $500 deposite for the (A) List
Greddy Profec B Boost controller $400
42# Injectors $300
Intank fuel pump $250
Cooler Plug $3 each
HKS Blow off Valve $300
Boost Gauge $50
Fuel Pressure Gauge $200
Air/Fuel Gauge $50
$5624 And that just too get you started

You can pick them up for 200 all day long - at that price you might consider the tial instead though.

Also I wouldn't bother with the a/f ratio gauge - save up a few extra bucks and drop 350 for the LM-1 wideband instead.

well all my gauges /blow off valve,and the boost controller I pay cost for thanks to one of my friends that owns a shop I payed $195 the the blow off valve But anyway those are estimated prices on the other stuff the piont being is that everyone thinks that this kit is going to cost $2995 like the LT1 kit when it really cost $4100 without all the goodies

Real 5 wire wideband.

And definitely a valid point on the total cost - not that it's a bad deal, but as you point out there is still additional costs (I would also factor in ls1 edit - I wouldn't try a FI setup without it - or at least a good dyno tune).

Me too just for the easy install and if I blow the motor I can take he in for warrenty!!
And the dyno #'s of corse
Do you guys think that the 60-1 will surge or loose boost in the rpm band in 3rd and 4th gear
Thats kinda small or I cant get an optional gt-67
but rick said i would blow my motor that didnt sound right too me QMP and Turbotech use T-76

you can blow your motor with any of those turbo's..

i would get the turbo that they used on the car that the dyno graphs were posted of.. looked like it was matched very well to a stock engine.

60-1 works ok on the turbotech kit, for me it held boost fine, but I was only runing 4-5 psi. I'd take the guys advice and not use a bigger turbo if your on a stock bottom end. Most people that use the T-76's seem to have lower than stock cr.

!!OUTCH!!, $4100, are you 100% on that?, if so, wouldnt it be very very possible to just buy the lt1 kit and just change a few intake pipes?

The TTi kit has a t76 as a upgrade comes standerd with the 60-1. Qmp Uses precision turbos and have a pte74 but that is also a upgrade. Qmp comes standerd with a pte63(see the pattern of 60series turbos here) . The 60-1 will do you fine up to about 500rwhp, after that forged internals and a upgrade are in order.

So what exactly do they give you for $3700?
That seems like a lot for a system that has no hot side plumbing.

BigBos stock dyno 320
60-1
5psi 416rwhp
8psi with the methanol injecton 509 rwhp
No tunning stock everything
You also get subfarame connectors with the kit
the piping comes welded on the i believe

Now correct me if I'm wrong here, but that includes a lot of upgrades so that you can dial up the boost. Now can you run say 5# on the stock fuel system and programming? That's the impression I've been given.

Where did you get your pricing info? I heard about 2500-2800 for the base LS1 kit without water alky?

Straight From Rick@STS I had too make a $500 deposite for the kit, the kit with a 60-1 and methanol was $4100, $3700 for just the kit
TAlonis You can run 5psi no problem and there is no base ls1 kit really eathier you have the option of a 60mm or a 60-1 for the same price $3700 for another 500 or 600 bucks you can get a GT-67 But it doesnt spool up with this system unless you are at like 14psi thats why a bigger turbo wont work on a stock motor he said hes got boxes and boxes of turbos and the 60-1 made the most power
60-1 specs P-trim,To4e,impeller to4b machined to fit the t04e ,back housing .81,4 inch in 2 out
So I guess if you want to call the 60mm kit the base kit its still $3700 without methanol and up in price from there The LT1 kit is $2999 not the LS1 kit ,kits will be shiped the first of the year
